What is it?
Right outside of Whiterun's bustling market, near Fort Greymoor, there is an old destroyed house. An old friend has converted it into a safe house just in case you manage to escape the Imperials, who managed to catch you outside of Dark Water crossing. This small player home comes equipped with some gear oriented towards a stealth character resting on a functional mannequin! There are a few racks on the wall with elven swords in them. There's a nice cozy bed that grants the "Well Rested" bonus, as well as several safe storage containers, an alchemy table, a very small bookshelf, and a statue of nocturnal that removes diseases and grants a bonus to Stealth.

When you go to a town/city you'll encounter a courier that has a letter for you from our old friend "Lucky" Lorenze. Yes this mod makes assumptions that you were captured by the Imperials near Darkwater crossing. Other than the letter that sets the premise of the mod, there are no connections to the main quest.

F.A.Q.

Q: How do I get into the Safehouse?
A: Once you get to the destroyed house, there is a key sitting on the fireplace mantle. Picking it up will complete the quest and allow you to open to trapdoor near the fireplace.

Q: Why make such a simple house mod when there are so many better ones available?
A: I wanted something small and kind of "out of sight" for my Stealth based characters. Plus I wanted to figure out this "writing a script" thing, so I did.

Q: I picked up the key before getting the quest from the courier, HELP!
A: Reload your save. Picking up the key is what actually completes the quest.

Q: Did you "convert" this for the Special Edition/Anniversary Edition?
A: Yes!
