After years lurking, I thought I would finally try my hand a making a mod to replace some of the functionality that I lost in the move to SSE. Some of my favorite mods have been nature of the beast and vampiric thirst, for their awesome implementation of slow time abilities. Sadly, I'm nowhere near the level of awesomeness of those two mods, but here is my humble first mod.
I use this mod with both SSE and SSE-VR. The power should automatically be added when you start the game. To use it, just equip it like any other power and activate it. Activate it again to remove the slow time effect. It will continuously drain stamina until your stamina is less than 5, and then will toggle off. It also increases your attack speed for both hands and bows as well as increasing your movement speed. So basically everything but you slows down.
I'd like to thank Allzero for his toggle spell tutorial (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21852) and Frakenfamily for his post on how to automatically add spell through quests.
By request, I have added two alternative versions of the mod. One which damages magicka and the other which damages stamina at twice the rate of the original mod. As for adding MCM menu or configuration spell, that would require implementing a global value and changing the script around completely. I'm not saying its not something I'll do eventually, but I'd need to do a lot of homework before hand.
For those of you who want to modify the values, you can do it easily with SSEEdit (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164?tab=posts). Just load up the mod in SSEEdit and go to spells. Select the spell Zz02 and change the value under Z003StaminaDamages "Enhanced Reflexes - Stamina Damage" to what ever you want.
