If blood potions sate your blood hunger why don't they sate your actual hunger?

SO. BLOOD POTIONS!
They're filled with blood, Vampires feed on blood and get less hungry but for some reason they don't actually sate hunger.
I added a value to blood potions in the creation kit to make them sate hunger as much as a full meal would, not quite sure why this wasn't included in the base survival mode.
I am using a mod that changes hunger values, so the nutritional mileage of the blood you're drinking may vary
Works Best With:
Lenient Survival - Changes the hunger values, also the Realistic Vampires file makes it so actual food doesn't nourish you. LIKE A REAL VAMPIRE!
Craftable Blood Potions - Makes it so you can craft blood potions, requires Human meat and Human Hearts
or
Simple Blood Potions - Same as above but Easy mode, Requires Bleed Crown mushrooms instead
