About this mod

A new start as the powerful and fearsome Dread Knight!

Permissions and credits
Welcome to the ROLEPLAY series. These mods are merely save games intended to be used for players who want a unique experience from the ground up. In a way, this is sort of like a live another life mod except the character you start out as has a specific play-style and role-playing aspects!
NOTE: This is NOT an overpowered build! While I recommend playing at higher difficulties, it will still present a challenge to many players, particularly if you are using mods that add more enemies and/or make the game more challenging and fun!

Backstory
It had been centuries since the Dread Knight had learned about the mortal world. Since his conception, the Dread Knight was bound to the plains of Oblivion in envy of the Daedric Princes. He was born with an immaculate lust for power - a greed that festered within him. He believed that the epitome of power was to become a Daedric Prince himself. It became clear to him that in order to achieve his goals, he would need to overthrow one of the Princes and take their place. In the days of the Dread Knights greatest power, it was Sheogorath himself who banished the Dread Knight to the mortal world in fear of his festering strength. Little did the Prince of Madness know, the Dread Knight had a plan.
In the years before his banishment, the Dread Knight sought a new power beyond the realm of Oblivion. It was the coming of the age of the Dragonborn and the Dread Knight grew envious of the great power the Dragonborn possessed. He was also maliciously fascinated by gold. In his observations of the mortal world, the most powerful were also the most wealthy. Knowing that his banishment was coming, the Dread Knight prepared a ritual that would permanently transport his soul into a mortal form. Once banished, he was able to conjure himself into a Dark Elf with the ability to trap the souls of dragons to fuel his power. This ability would allow the Dread Knight to impersonate a Dragonborn in the lands of Skyrim while the real Dragonborn would never know his or her true powers.
Life in the Plains of Oblivion is far different from life in the Fields of Tamriel. The Dread Knight carried all but his physical appearance to the mortal world; taking with him his envious anger, his morbid fascination with power, and his ruthlessness with him. Any chance to gain money and power is a risk worth taking to the Dread Knight. In his struggle to gain respect and honor among the mortals, he often finds interactions difficult as his instinctive anger tends to consume him. Rightfully so, victory in battle fills him with a tempered ecstasy, often causing him to make a habit of executing his reanimated minion just to be able to kill them twice!
In his mad hunt for power, the Dread Knight wants desperately to build his power and fame at all costs. To do so, he may join the Imperials with hopes of assassinating the Queen and taking her place. Or he may join the Stormcloaks and capture Skyrim in him name. The Daedric morality of the Dark Brotherhood makes the Dread Knight feel at home again and entices him to join them - mostly just for the fun of murdering the weak and building his power. Whatever path he chooses, the Dread Knight does his best to fulfill the role of a Dragonborn and gain as much power as possible in the lands of Skyrim. The only thing more impressive than becoming a Prince of the Daedra is becoming the Overlord of Tamriel.
