Skyrim Special Edition

- SSELODGen recommended settings (The one I use, if you have a better idea, tell me I'm not an expert):
-- For the 1k version (recommended):
--- Object Lods : CHECKED (you don't say :p )
--- Build Atlas : CHECKED
--- atlas size : 8192 * 8192
--- max texture size : 1024
--- in UV range : 1.5

-- For the 512 version:
--- Object Lods : CHECKED
--- Build Atlas : CHECKED
--- atlas size : 4096* 4096
--- max texture size : 512
--- in UV range : 1.5

-- For the 2048 version:
--- Object Lods : CHECKED
--- Build Atlas : CHECKED
--- atlas size : 8192 * 4096 <- yes, most of the texture will not be in the atlas, so 4k*8k is enough
--- max texture size : 1024 <- 2k texture will be used as is and will not be included in the atlas
--- in UV range : 1.5

-- Eventually build tree Lods if you want, you need billboard for them. I use -3 for tree lod Brightness.

-- Eventually compress the diffuse atlas created by SSELODGen to DXT1a
with paint.net as I said before, it may help if you are low on vram
(40Mo are saved if you use the 1k version)

Hi, I ran SSELODGEN after downloading about 50 mods in mod manager, and it ran successfully however I did not get the pop up menu to enter these values in to. What could this mean?

Nice to see an article like this. Can you write how to create ''billboard'' for objects?

Thanks for the tutorial. Well, I have one vorpos, why then convert the atlas, if before generating the LODs, you can choose the DXT1 format instead of DXT3? I did not understand something, or just at the time of writing this tutorial, there was no such function in SSELODGE?

      Hi,

I am still interested in that, and:

"--- atlas size : 8192 * 4096 <- yes, most of the texture will not be in the atlas, so 4k*8k is enough"

      8k*4k or 4k*8K?

      :)

      Thank You!
