Skyrim Special Edition

Known compatibility list

  • ASIS: Compatible. You might be interested in this INI file to enable ASIS to support many popular mods including this one. To prevent ASIS Increased Spawns from creating duplicates of Splinter Twins phantoms, follow these instructions.
  • Dragon Soul Relinquishment: Compatible.
  • Improved Dragon Shouts: Unnecessary. Thunderchild already includes shout buffs. If you prefer the buffs in Improved Dragon Shouts, load it below Thunderchild.
  • Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim: Compatible.
  • Perkus Maximus (PerMa): Compatibility patch available on the downloads page.
  • Requiem: Compatibility patch available on the downloads page.
  • Revenge of the Enemies: Compatible. Note that RotE adds a broken duplicate of the Frost Breath shout to the game.
  • Shout Overlord: Unnecessary. Thunderchild already includes shout buffs.
  • Skyrim Redone (SkyRe): Compatibility patch available on the downloads page. Speechcraft XP: SkyRe grants speechcraft experience when shouting, but this only works with vanilla shouts. The latest version of the compatibility patch automatically disables this features and allows Thunderchild to handle speechcraft experience for shouting instead (see below). If you are using an older version of the patch or you have uninstalled and reinstalled the patch (it only works once), open the console and type set xxxSPEShoutExpBase to 0 followed by set TC_ExpMultiplier_Global to 4. Uninstallation: Should you want to uninstall Thunderchild and the patch, to restore SkyRe's speechcraft experience, open the console and type set xxxSPEShoutExpBase to 350.
  • SPERG: Compatible.
  • Wyrmstooth: Compatibility patch available on the downloads page.

Compatibility with other mods

  • Thunderchild is compatible with mods that add new shouts.
  • Thunderchild is compatible with mods that replace sound vocalisation sound files.
  • Modifies vanilla shouts.
  • Modifies the quest dialogue related to shout vocalisations.
  • The Stormblast and Trueshot shouts are on-hit weapon effects. Only one on-hit weapon effect can be active at any time, which is the one with the lowest priority rank. Perks in the vanilla game have their priority rank set correctly, but because the default is maximum priority, some mods unintentionally have their perks or weapon enchantments set to maximum priority, preventing these two shouts from working. This must be fixed by the creator of said other mods.
