In this video I continue with my focus on Vampires and Dawnguard, but there is a little something at the end for non Vampires too.

A moderator has closed this comment topic for the time beingI've never had any of those issues with BV. Ever. And I have about 50 mods going at the same time. Perhaps you never read the author's comments and upgraded a new version on top of a save that contained an old version? 90% of the problems people have had (looking back through discussions) are because they never took the time to read the description or look at the awesome troubleshooting page he/she provided. Don't judge a mod because you did something to mess it up. Skyrim is complicated and it requires patience and reading instructions to get things to play nice together ...
BSR has bugs, but it also has a button and pressing that button twice fixes all the bugs I've encountered. It's also balanced, at least for SkyRe. Most importantly, though, Better Vampires is a list of cool stuff you can do while a vampire, while BSR is a whole experience.
So I asked myself what is the difference between these two mods? I did not want to post this on their pages for respect of the authors.
I have found a few helpful comments in here on that topic, thank you.
If you haven't already check out the Clan Quest mod for Bloodlines. It adds alot of new content including new quests. It is very well done and greatly adds to an already excellent game barring the goofy combat mechanics.
If BS even brings a small slice of Bloodlines' vampirism to Skyrim it will be a marked improvement. TES vampires are just boring as hell to play. There is no way around it and while I like my mods to fit lore just as much as the next guy vampires are one of those things I have no problem changing around. I wonder if the weaknesses such as trespassing apply to npc vampires as well.
In regards to werewolf mods I am currently using sushisquids Yet Another Werewolf mod which fixes some of the issues vanilla werewolves had such as being completely useless against mages. I don't mind being weak against magic but you literally had 0 defense against magic spells.
I saw that you switched back to Realistic Lighting. Could you make a Video which compares URWL, RLWC, CoT etc. and give and advice which to use? That would be great!
