About this mod

A hound of considerable size, muscular build and tough demeanor, the Pitbull Mastiff is the result of the selected crossing of a Mastiff with a Pit Bull. Because it is a breed used for dogfighting, and being a common canine among criminals, the breed is unfairly seen by the majority of society, who consider them dangerous and unpredictable.

"
The Pitbull Mastiff is the result of the selected crossing of a breed of Mastiff dog with a breed of Pit Bull dog. A hound of considerable size, muscular build and tough demeanor, its origin is largely credited to the Nords of Skyrim, and aims to be the best of both worlds for fighting dog breeds. The large Mastiffs are very popular in Skyrim, but also in High Rock and Cyrodiil, as guard dogs for livestock, but also as war-hounds, while Pit Bulls come from a mixture of Bulldogs and Terriers, and while the muscular Bulldogs are famous for their fights against bulls much bigger than them, the agile Terriers are excellent hunting dogs, thus making the Pitbull Mastiff a complete, fearless, resistant and intelligent dog, ideal for confrontational environments, which require a package of survival skills.

Depending on the breeds, mainly on the Mastiff side, used in the crossing, the size of a Pitbull Mastiff can vary a lot, but, for reasons that are mostly based on producing the ideal dog for pit fighting, a Pitbull Mastiff, the type that we can often find in camps of mercenaries and criminals, it is a dog little bigger than a Pit Bull breed, and because the breed is widely used in dogfights, and even in confrontations in arenas against Bears or Bulls, nowadays it is seen with distrust and fear by many citizens due to the great power of its jaws, and ferocity when trained to be a pit fighter. Also, as mentioned, Pitbull Mastiffs are commonly used by bandits to guard their hiding places, besides the dogfights clandestinely organized by them to this day, which contributes to further tarnishing the image of this canine breed. However, they are loyal and docile dogs when treated with love and educated with a firm hand, but unfortunately, prejudice precedes the dog, so nowadays they are largely marginalized.

Generally, Pitbull Mastiffs in possession of bandits are covered with scars caused by their countless fights, both during raids by the bandit clans to which they belong, and during the dogfights in which they participate, for the entertainment of the criminals owners in their spare time. These dogs also have their ears and tails cropped short, to avoid injuries in these areas, which, of course, any animal specialist would advise against if the animal's owner has the animal's well-being in mind.

A considerable portion of the rabid dogs that can be found roaming uncontrolled are of this breed: after contracting the dreaded disease in contact with other sick animals during fights, after a while, when already extremely debilitated, they are discarded by their owners, as a useless object without any value. They are completely fearless, insane and terrifying because of the disease's effects on the brain, and their bodies are covered in open wounds inflicted by themselves or by their reckless behavior.

Be careful and never touch such an animal, or you will contract rabies, a deadly disease that basically leaves you doomed unless you receive a powerful blessing or drink a strong disease-curing potion in time. You will find these rabid dogs usually alone, and attacking everything in sight, without any sense of self-preservation, and putting them out of their misery from a distance, when possible, is an act of mercy."

- 4 new creatures: Pitbull Mastiff (in 2 variants), Rabid Dog (in 2 variants);

- 1 new disease: Rabies, contracted from the bite of Rabid Dogs (in game description- "Rabies is an extremely contagious disease, contracted by contact with the saliva of infected animals or people. It causes severe inflammation of the brain and nervous system, high blood pressure, immune system breakdown, and extreme fever. Your health has been reduced by 80%.")

(OBS- If by chance when installing several of Mihail's mods at the same time you are asked about files overwriting those of other Mihail mods or other authors mods, don't worry because they are just the same files shared between mods. I recommend that on these occasions always give preference to the files contained in my mods, and among mine always give preference to the mod you are installing last.)
