There's a SAM conversion posted on VectorPlexus.com by a user called Don. It looks great, enjoy!

This is a mod I've had requested to be brought back honestly a surprising number of times considering how awful it was. It was my very first armor, you see. So to you who missed it, I've done you one better. What you have here is a highly improved, polished version of the Scoundrel's Armor, complete with a new, better shape, new accessories, and more color choices!

What you get:
  • Vest+Trousers Outfit (slot 32/body)
  • Trousers only (slot 32/body)
  • Fishnet Sleeves (slot 33/hands)
  • Boots (slot 37/feet)
  • Collar (slot 45/neck - you can wear necklaces with this!)
  • Armband with Glow-in-the-Dark Flasks (slot 59/right arm)
  • Wristbands (slot 54/left leg - was the best choice without interfering with more useful things)
  • Bracer (slot 58/left arm)
  • Cloth Belt (slot 49/pelvis)
  • Satchel (slot 53/right leg)
  • Bandolier (slot 57/shoulder)

The items which are mostly leather have differently-colored stitching to correspond to the more colorful pieces. There aren't any dedicated shots of those because it seemed silly to me.

These are all light armor pieces that fall somewhere between Elven and Glass. They are categorized as Elven, and can all be tempered.

To obtain them, pay a visit to the Ragged Flagon. A young Dunmer by the name of Sedave the Slick is hanging out and eager to take your money! He's along the right "side" of the circle. You likely can't miss him. He'll also buy anything that's not stolen (I wound up figuring it wouldn't be in his best interests to horn in on the TG's racket), and he starts with 5k gold for bartering.

This mod uses a proprietary body sculpted by myself in order to obtain a particular look. The distance between 0 and 100 is relatively small, the aim being to give the wearer a fit look without being built. In short, if you have a really beefy guy and that's super duper important to you, this armor may not be for you! Obviously I encourage you to give it a try, but this won't be to everyone's tastes, and that's okay!

Honestly this is really no different from those straight ports from Witcher games for males that had nothing done to them shape-wise. If those don't bother you, probably this one won't, either.

None, yo!

Use your favorite mod manager or drop the contents of the archive into your Skyrim/Data folder. Be sure the plugin is checked!

To uninstall, make sure you don't have these items in your inventory and that you aren't in the Ragged Flagon cell. Save, remove the BSA and plugin from Skyrim/Data, and you should be good to go.

As always, back up your saves!

  • Sedave OUGHT TO BE using his very own lean idle marker, but he doesn't. He does stand nearby it, though, and won't be going anywhere, so it's not game-breaking, just annoying. This is my tradeoff for having working ground meshes this time, I guess. Oh yeah, my GO meshes work this time so you can drop them and they won't ruin everything!
  • Sedave will greet you when you enter the cell. Because he's a pawnbroker class I don't think there's any way around this? I don't know how important class is to a merchant NPC. I don't want to change him to something more silent and then ruin his buy-anything behavior.
  • The collar will clip during certain poses and actions, and this is because I had to remove the head weighting. Otherwise the studs deformed in a very obvious and ugly way (I mean REALLY obvious) when the head moved, and it was more important to me to have more-or-less static studs that clip than have them move with the head and get messed-up.

Q: Can you make a proper (insert body type here) conversion?
A: Nope. You can, though, if you want to.

Q: Why is there a lot of space between this and that?
A: Most pieces are meant to overlap with each other and the topmost pieces are just gonna have gaps when worn alone.

Q: There's clipping when I equip X without the outfit equipped, why?
A: The outfit's body shape is thinner than most male replacers out there. However, most pieces will fit okay on the more popular bodies:

Little to No Issue
  • Boots
  • Wristbands
  • Collar

YMMV
  • Belt
  • Bandolier
  • Satchel
  • Bracer
  • Sleeves

Unlikely
  • Armband

Q: Why no separate vest, and why do the pants take 32?
A: Because, due to the body shape, you probably wouldn't be able to wear either of them with much of anything.

Q: Why don't the wristbands and bracer show up in first person?
A: In order for a mesh to appear in first person it must take either the hand or forearm slots, and neither of these do. Only the forearm slot (34) is technically free, but you'd wind up with part of your arm missing because technicals.

Q: Is this compatible with SSE?
A: I highly doubt it.

Q: Can you make it compatible?
A: I don't play SSE, I have no interest in SSE. What mods have been ported are simply hosted by me and were done by someone else. In all likelihood I would break something super hard.

Q: Why would I be walking around with a satchel marking me as affiliated with the Thieves Guild?
A-1: It's your game, you explain it.
A-2: It's just an idea I had because the satchel looked blank and sad. Wear it or don't! Or you can use the PSD files provided in the downloads to erase it and put a bird on it!

NO ASPECT OF THIS MOD MAY BE MONETIZED

This may not be ported to other games as it contains Skyrim meshes (bandolier, bracer, both belts including satchel, the pants from the knee, down...).

Otherwise please feel free to use this however you see fit, as long as you adhere to the conditions of use and provide credit to the author(s) listed below if you use their assets. You do not need to ask permission from me, and you do not need to provide credit, although it would be very much appreciated. A link back here would be cool, too.
