About this mod

Makes Myrad flights more expensive.

Requires Enderal. Follow the instructions here to get it - it's absolutely amazing.

Description

When I ran across my first Myrad in Ark, I was pretty awed by the majestic nature of those beasts. Needless to say, I was quite surprised to see that a Myrad flight only costs 25 Pennies - quite cheap, considering how cost-inefficient Myrad flights must be: limited number of passengers per flight, certainly high maintenance cost, and not many of those flying giants in existence. So I decided to bump the price up to 250 (the horse in Ark costs 600). This is, in my opinion, a reasonable middle ground between ingame logic and functionality - not too expensive to be worth it, and not cheaper than a loaf of bread.

Installation <-- This is important!!

If you haven't started your playthrough yet, just use your favorite mod manager or download manually and drop the ESP in your Data folder - easy as pie.

However, if -like me- you're installing this mid-playthrough, the Skyrim engine tries its best to make life a little more complicated for you. What you need to do after installing through NMM is execute a console command to update the necessary quest variable that has been baked into your save file the second you started your playthrough. To do that, do one of the following:

1) Go in game, load your save game, then open the console and type in: setpqv d9b17 price_var 250

OR 2) Download the optional bat file called "myrad" (there is no file extension), place it in your Skyrim root folder (where Skyrim.exe is). Then go in game, load your save game, open the console and type in: bat myrad

Both do the exact same thing, but maybe you'll find one of the two ways more convenient than the other, I dunno.

German version available in the Files section. Install either the English or the German version, not both.

Uninstallation

Don't.

If you really need to, uninstall and then use the console to reset the Myrad flight price to 25 by replacing the "250" with a "25" in the console command listed above. Otherwise the dialogue will say 25 but you'll really still pay 250. By the way, this would also be the way to adjust the value to anything you want. It won't show in the dialogue, though.

Load Order & Compatibility

Anywhere, with anything. It's not like there's a plethora of Enderal-specific mods out there anyway. When in doubt, LOOT.
