Introduction

There are a lot of great armor mods on the Nexus. However, since my character can only equip one set at a time, I find that most armor just ends up cluttering my crafting menu instead of improving my game experience. This mod is intended to remedy that by making armors added by other mods the default outfits for NPCs.

In order to have maximum compatibility with NPC overhaul mods, I avoid touching NPCs directly as much as possible. This mod would works by replacing the generic outfits and leveled lists that the NPCs are already assigned to use. This means I do not have a complete list of NPCs affected, and it may even effect some NPCs added by mods. If an armor set doesn't look right when it can be commonly found on anyone (for example, if it is supposed to be a one-of-a-kind legendary armor, or if it is gender specific), then I add it to my other mod instead (Unique Outfits for NPCs), which uses a script to individually assign outfits.

All modules require you to download the armor mod by the original mod author.
The way this mod works is by creating brand new sets using the same meshes/textures. The reason for doing it this is so that you have the option of disabling the original ESP, but can keep it if you want to.

Requirements

All of the following are soft requirements; it will still work without them. However, I balanced the new armor sets to have stats consistent with these mods.

Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch
Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade
Clothing and Clutter Fixes
Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade

I also highly recommend using Merge Plugins xEdit Script.

Talos Housecarl Armor Pack

Required Download: Talos Housecarl Armor Pack
This module creates a new armor set named "Nordic Commander Armor", which looks like the Talos Housecarl Armor and has the same stats as Nordic Carved Armor. It replaces the default outfit for many of the Stormcloak Commanders. The NPCs will not have the new weapons, but both the weapons and the armor can be crafted if you have the perk. I recommend disabling "TalosHousecarl.esp" in the original mod, because otherwise it will just create duplicate items in you crafting menu.

Noldor Content Pack

Required Download: Noldor Content Pack
This module creates a new armor set named "Thalmor Armor", which has the same stats as Elven Armor. It looks like the Rivendell Armor and replaces Elven Weapons and Armor in the Thalmor leveled lists. It can be crafted at the forge. Disabling "NoldorArmor.esp" is optional depending on whether or not you want the other armors added by it.

Tribunal Robes

Required Download: Tribunal Robes
This module creates a new armor set named "College Guard Robes". It looks like the blue Tribunal Robes set, and can be found on the guards at the College of Winterhold. It cannot be crafted.  If you actually want to obtain and use the armor, then you should probably keep "Tribunal Robes by Zairaam.esp" activated.
