This mod started out as few .esp edits, and it ended up like this. Send help.

INTRODUCTION

Some very personal tweaks to the follower/companion system in TESV: Skyrim, thought that you might enjoy them as well.
Incorporated in SV Mods Menu mod.

FEATURES
  • Weekly pay for followers.
  • Teach followers spells by giving them spell tomes.
  • Revive.
  • Group Loot.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Firm suspension of disbelief.

WARNING

  • This mod doesn’t allow you to have more than one follower. You need a mod like EFF for that feature.
  • Mod supports up to FIVE followers, it won't work on more.
  • If you decide to enable/disable following settings please:
    • DO NOT DO IT WHILE YOU HAVE FALLEN COMPANIONS. Revive them first then change settings.
    • Open console with ~ and type stopquest RSFTMainQuest and then type startquest RSFTMainQuest
  • You might want to enable/disable following features on a housecarl follower. In order to do this:
    • To DISABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableHousecarl to 0. (Default)
    • To ENABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableHousecarl to 1.

WEEKLY PAY

  • You are required to pay weekly fee in order to keep your followers.
  • You will be reminded by in game notification that you'll need to pay, and soon after that the follower will approach you demanding gold.
  • You can persuade or even intimidate followers into following you for free. (Only once)
  • If your 'Illusion' skill is at least 75 you can use it to mesmerize your followers to follow you for free. (Up to 5 times)
  • Configuration:
    • To change payment FREQUENCY: open console with ~ and type set RSFTPaymentDays to X. where X is number of days between payments. CHANGE THIS AT YOUR OWN PERIL! Default: 7
    • To change payment AMOUNT: open console with ~ and type set RSFTHirelingGold to X. where X is gold amount. Default: 500
    • To change how many times you can mesmerize your followers: open console with ~ and type set RSFTIllusionLimit to X. where X is the limit. Default: 5

TEACH FOLLOWERS SPELLS (SKSE 1.7.3.+)

  • Teach followers spells by giving them spell tomes.
  • Configuration:
    • To DISABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableTeachSpells to 0.
    • To ENABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableTeachSpells to 1. (Default)

REVIVE

  • When your follower falls in battle they won't go through the traditional bleed-out phase, instead they'll be "dead" until you:
    • Perform blood transfusion. Performing this action will give you 'Tainted Blood' debuff which decreases your overall health, stamina and magicka (5% per blood transfusion). To clear this debuff, sleep WITHOUT INTERRUPTION for at least 8 hours.
    • Give them 'Potion of Imbued Blood' which can be bought from priests.
  • Configuration:
    • To DISABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableRevive to 0. (Default)
    • To ENABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableRevive to 1.
    • To change potion cost: open console with ~ and type set RSFTRevivePotionGold to X. where X is the cost. Default: 5000
    • To change 'Blood Transfusion' learning cost: open console with ~ and type set RSFTBTransGold to X. where X is the cost. Default: 10.000

GROUP LOOT (SKSE 1.7.3.+) (BUG PRONE)

  • Everything you pick-up, take from a container or a dead body will be considered as 'group loot'.
  • To access the 'group loot' use the "Let's split the loot." dialogue option.
  • How much you can take will be displayed via message.
  • NOTE: Enchanted items won't show their true value, they will instead show their base value. Nothing that I can do about this.
  • NOTE: This feature might work when it shouldn't, and it may not work when it should. Point of this feature is to make player less fortunate by looting everything in sight. Keep this in mind.
  • Configuration:
    • To DISABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableLoot to 0. (Default)
    • To ENABLE: open console with ~ and type set RSFTEnableLoot to 1.
