IMPORTANT!

This mod has been pointed out to have sanitary issues. I have not experienced issues while running it myself, however, if you choose to use this mod keep in mind that it may conflict with other mods in unintended ways and could cause other unintended effects. If you experience issues with your game, or other mods are not behaving correctly, consider disabling Stop Yawning.

andi5000 released a better alternative for the SSE version of the game which replaces the yawning sound files for the game with empty sound files instead of modifying the actors via an esp. I would replicate this for SE, however, I'm not particularly invested in the Skyrim community any longer - I leave this information here that hopefully another candid young modder can take inspiration from andi's work and replicate it for the rest of our standard edition friends.

If a better version of this is released for Standard Edition, please let me know on Discord @ Frawst#3553 so that I can provide a link to your mod on this page! I do NOT check nexusmods regularly!

Description:

Simply removes yawning from all characters in the game.

Why:

Late nights, long play-times. The worst immersion breaker out there is that IRL need for sleep. I got pretty tired of hearing my follower(s) yawning while we traversed a dark dungeon, and it was only worse in towns - especially when they can yawn all the time!

If you discover a yawn-er while using this mod, please let me know so I can fix it!

Install:

Just drop the .ESP into your /Data/ folder and you're good to go. NMM can handle this no problem.

Don't forget to run LOOT before playing!

Compatibility:

This may conflict with other mods which modify yawning sound effects. Otherwise there shouldn't be any issues.

Note to other modders:

This mod is provided to all of you to be reused and manipulated in any way you see fit without the need for attribution. I don't know what I'm doing, and apparently this mod has some issues? (I run it all the time, never had a problem.) If you want to fix those issues and relaunch the mod on your own page go right ahead.
