Bloodborne ENB

Vivid Weathers edition

by mobiusbelmont

Dark Fantasy inspired ENB preset based on dark fantasy art and screenshots from Bloodborne

Vivid Weather and ELFX required (CoT and NLVA editions here)

There are three editions of Bloodborne to choose from.

Night Eye compatible versions also available for each edition

Original edition:  dark days and nights with lots of fog, medium saturation, and foreboding reddish sunlight

Old Hunters Edition: vibrant with slightly brighter days and nights with a yellow/orange sun

Plague Edition: Bleak and de-saturated with
pale sunlight

GENERAL INFO:
This is my best attempt at designing an ENB preset that resembles the Bloodborne and my favorite pieces of dark fantasy artwork.  It is not meant to be realistic!

- This ENB does NOT feature custom weathers

- only Core Files of ELFX were used making this preset.  Do not use the Weathers and exteriors plugins, but the others should be fine if you use them

- This ENB was designed to work with ELFX and Vivid Weathers.  Omission of either may cause strange looking effects but this has not been tested.  See the link above for versions for other weather mods

- Use ENB binary .349 but older binaries (292 or greater) should also work fine.
Dusk/Dawn is NOT enabled and settings have not been optimized

- Use only ONE preset at a time.  Night eye versions available for each edition

- This ENB does NOT use SweetFX

- Here is my list of highly recommended mods I use with this preset
  Realistic Water two
  watercolor for ENB
  True Storms (patches available for Vivid Weathers)
   Technicolor Alchemy Overhaul
  Dark Fantasy Overhaul Or Enhanced Landscapes with Dark Fantasy option
  Morrowind Overhaul for Volcanic Tundra
  The Blue Forest
  Fantasy Forest Overhaul
  The Great Forest of Whiterun Hold
  Beyond Reach
  DynDOLOD or TES5LODGen for combining landscape overhauls
  Vigilant
  Unslaad
  Darkend
  Crash Fixes (highly recommended!!!)

- Thread fixes are disabled by default, enable them if you need/want to.  I suggest leaving them disabled until you have an issue with a game crashing in a certain area.  They are a life saver

- ENBlocal file memory settings configured for Windows 10.  Please adjust memory settings according to your hardware

INSTALLATION:

1.Copy the d3d9.dll and enbhost files from here to your Skyrim folder (use the latest wrapper version v349.  Older versions of these presets use 315 and lower...found in old editions in files section)

2.Copy and paste the Bloodborne ENB files to your Skyrim folder.  Choose only ONE edition

3. Edit your skyrimprefs.ini and set the following values:
[Display]
bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bShadowsOnGrass=1
iMultiSample=0 (this turns off in game Anti-Aliasing, a must for every ENB using latest binary)
bFXAAEnabled=0
iMaxAnisotropy=16 (yes this is OK!!  see Crash Fixes mod page for more details)

4. In game brightness should be set to 0

Check out this guide by Sthaagg for configuring ENB and your Skyrim (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as this is the best and most up to date method for optimizing your game and minimizing stutter, CTD, and other issues)

Changelog

2.0: initial release for Vivid Weathers (after months of toil)
2.1: fixed some lighting curves for MUCH better night eye.
