In the beginning there was nothing but a great void of eternal darkness. The darkness gave birth to the Nightspawn. Then from an unkown origin came the hated light. The light gave birth to the gods who in turn gave birth to the Aedra and Daedra. These godlike beings created many planes of existence and worlds, including Nirn. The perfect void of darkness had been corrupted by the light. Suns and worlds were popping up everywhere, mortal and immortal servants of the new gods and Daedra were spreading like wildfire. The darkness was furious! It sent it's children forth to exterminate the forces of the light and return the universe to eternal darkness.

A mighty war was waged across the heavens and even though both sides suffered countless losses the Nightspawn were driven back to the Abyssal Darkness at the end of time. The progeny of these new gods prospered and grew into the civilization we now know today. The darkness and the Nightspawn wait at the edge of the universe nursing an endless malevolent hatred for the forces of the light who corrupted their world and stole so much of it from them. They dwell there growing in number and power, waiting for the time when they are strong enough to wage a second war upon the forces of the light and return the universe to a void of utter darkness.

That time is almost upon us. Already the Nightspawn have been sighted throughout Tamriel.

Update V1.2

Added player shadow FX to Shadow Flare power and fixed dual value damage (now both enemy health & magicka are damaged as originally intended)
Added more detailed eye texture.
Light is toxic to the Nightspawn. Equipping Torches and being hit by or casting light spells damages health severely (magelight scroll is the only one I couldnt apply light damage to. Hope to fix this in the future.)
Added Nightspawn only area reachable by teleport spell (has Nightspawn temple, Abyssal Forge, Tower of Dark Sorcery, all with lots of features to discover). Return to Tamriel Teleport Spell also included to exit the area.
Added Nightspawn Load Screens.
Added more random played voice lines when shadow flare is cast.

Installation
============

1. Unrar
2. Copy all contents from The Nightspawn folder to the Skyrim/data directory (If asked to replace any files click yes to all).
3. From the Racecompatibility folder open folder "00 Core" and refer to manual install readme file to install the correct version.
3. tick The NightspawnV2.esp and Racecompatibility.esm in data files
4. Make sure Racecompatibility.esm comes before The Nightspawn.esp in your load order
5. Start new game, choose The Nightspawn race and enjoy!
