About this mod

A vibrant, fantasy preset that is relatively performance friendly.

Made for vanilla lighting and weather but also compatible with ELFX lighting modules.

Permissions and credits
UPDATE:
Compatible with ELFX lighting modules. Check Sinitar Gaming's video linked below.

INTRODUCTION:

This is a new version of my previous ENB preset - Surreal ENB. When I released that preset, I wanted to make a higher quality version of it but didn't have the required hardware back then. Since then I have upgraded my system so I've been able to add the effects I wanted. Just like the original, this was created for vanilla lighting and weather but works pretty well with ELFX interior/exterior modules (not with the weathers module though).

Kindly scroll all the way down (its a relatively short page) and view the resized pics to get an idea how the preset looks.

Many thanks to DonProtein/Sinitar Gaming for showcasing my preset (7:12).

MODS:

REQUIRED
ENB Series
Skyrim Visual Immersion Series ENB Resource OR Bokeh Depth of Field for ENB users
The enbeffectprepass.fx file from either one of these two mods is needed for the DOF effect. Haven't included it by default due to unclear permissions.
Many of these screenshots were taken with Bokeh Depth of Field for ENB users but if you want a sharper, crisper distant image, use Skyrim Visual Immersion Series ENB Resource (vanilla version).

RECOMMENDED

Again, a massive, heartfelt thank you to all these mod authors and the modding community in general without whom Skyrim would not be what it is today.

INSTALLATION:

1 - Download the main file, extract it and and copy it to your installation directory. Default location is Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim.
2 - Download the latest ENB binary from the ENB series site and copy d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe from the wrapper folder to your installation directory.
     Note - I created this preset with v305 which isn't available anymore but v308 should work fine.
3 - Download either Skyrim Visual Immersion Series or Bokeh Depth of Field for ENB users (both linked above) and overwrite enbeffectprepass.fx
     in my preset with the corresponding file from either mod.
4 - Open SkyrimPrefs.ini located in your My Documents or Mod Organizer profile folder and make the following changes:
     bFloatPointRenderTarget=1
     bDrawLandShadows=1
     bTreesReceiveShadows=1

     Also set fGamma=1.0400. This is the brightness setting I use but of course you can edit it to what you prefer.
5 - Turn off in game AA. You could also disable FXAA if you don't like its blurriness and if ENB's EdgeAA fulfills your AA needs.
6 - Open enblocal.ini and set the VideoMemorySizeMb parameter according to your video card's memory.
     Note - There are differing views on what the right formula is but you can use this tool to get a general idea - Vram size test.

PERFORMANCE:

This preset works fine on my rig (i5 2500K, 8GB DDR3 RAM, RX 470 4GB). I get 50+ fps in most places so if you got a similar rig or better, you should be good.

CONCLUSION:

If you have any issues or need help with anything, let me know in the comments section. Thank you for checking out my preset.
