About this mod

A few animations to make you feel a bit more competent with magic.

Permissions and credits

Skyrim's animations aren't that great. Fortunately there's a plethora of mods to fix them, usually to your taste.

Other than first-person animations that is. I'm not sure there's a single first-person mod on the nexus. It's particularly frustrating for mages, as trying to hit something in third-person can be more trouble than it's worth. (Unless you use area spells I guess.)

Anyway, this changes the rigid charging and ready animations to something more fluid and elegant. There is a slight jump in the right hand's animation. It doesn't happen too often and barely noticeable in a fight. However, if this bothers you there is a second file for just the left hand, good for spellswords.

The animations are in vanilla Skyrim, just unused. For some reason. They are the charging and ready animations for "accumulate magnitude" spells, or wards. You'd probably noticed, but wards have no charge time. Not sure what went on in development for these animations to just get ditched.

Installation

Use whatever mod manager you want. If you're installing manually then you already know how this works.

Uninstallation

Delete all files starting with "mlh_" and "mrh_". They are located in meshes\actors\character\_1stperson\animations. Or simply uninstall via a manager.
