TL;DR Getting hit by paralysis makes you ragdoll.
The mod is originally by silverfish but he hasn't been active for years and I really want an update.

What is the 'Moonwalk' bug?
- Its a bug wherein an actor walks in place. Moves in position, but not moving.
Whats the difference between the vanilla spell and this one on how it works?
- The only difference between this mod and the vanilla paralyze spell is the ragdoll.
- The vanilla spell manipulates an actor value called "Paralysis" to paralyze an actor and also applying the 'frozen' effect.
- While this mod also changes that value using a script but it doesn't apply the frozen effect.
- Both spells end exactly the same, restoring the actor value to zero. Enabling the actor to move once again.
How it happens:
- Killed when Paralyzed then raised
1. Paralyze an actor then try to kill-them before they fully stand up. If you kill them during the get-up animation the bug will happen.
2. Raise them from the dead by a spell. (Resurrect will not result in moonwalk)
3. High chance they will moonwalk. (100% for me)
4. Happens with the vanilla spell. I'm guessing it just the Raise Dead being buggy or both Raise Dead and Paralysis.
- Paralysis actor value is 0 when they died but moonwalk still occurs.
- One way to fix this is to paralyze them again but you cannot do that with the vanilla spell.
- Killed during the Getting up animation, then raised
1. Force push an actor, then kill them during the get-up animation.
2. Resurrecting the actor can result in moonwalk.
-Killed when Ragdolled then raised
1. Force push an actor towards death
2. Resurrecting can result in moonwalk and immediate death
- Happens by accident
1. It just happens.
2. By some freak accident, the moment the animation for getting up is triggered, the actor died. (probably)
3. Moonwalk can happen the moment they stand up. This can only explain why in the absence of paralysis spells, the bug can still happen.
Conclusions:
1. I'm not one hundred certain with this but seems like the Raised Dead spell is bugged as hell.
2. I'm guessing moonwalk bug just can't be fixed if it happens in those times, even with the standard vanilla paralyze spell.
3. Maybe just avoid the above scenarios when playing?
In the end, if you tried those above and all is well for you, let me know because for me it is REALLY consistent
[Install]
1. Unzip in Data folder or use a Mod Manager.
2. Use Tes5Edit to check for conflicts. Just make sure that the Script is present, the Archetype is Script and the Actor Value is None.
3. Play as usual but with ragdolls.
[Update]
1. Make sure that nobody is paralyze. The script is active during paralysis only.
2. Install new file and overwrite.
3. Play as usual but updated.
[Uninstall]
1. Make sure that nobody is paralyze. The script is active during paralysis only.
2. Remove the Paralyze.esp and the scripts, or use a Mod Manager.
3. Play as usual but without ragdolls.
[Reason]
About time for a nice mod to get fixed.
