Deathbell-High-Resolution-Retexture-v0.4.2
## DESCRIPTION ##
A retexture mod for the Deathbell, as plant and ingredient item.
The mod ships with the 4k textures included by default. If you wish to use larger or smaller textures depending on what your system can handle, please download the alternative resolution textures as per your needs.
The resolutions available are as follows:
- 8k 8192x8192
- 4k 4096x4096 (These are included by default.)
- 2k 2048x2048
- 1k 1024x1024
## INSTALLATION ##
1. Copy the Data folder onto your Skyrim installation's Data folder. This should merge in the .esp mod file, as well as the Meshes and Textures for the mod.
2. In your chosen mod manager, enable the .esp file. This will override the game's NIF files to use the modded versions for all in-game Deathbell assets.
3. [Optional] If you wish to use textures other than the 4k ones included by default, download those and copy the DDS files into your textures path.
4. Enjoy your improved Skyrim experience.
If you prefer not using an ESP file for managing your retextures, you can rename the NIF and DDS files to the original "Deathbell01", "Deathbell01_m", and "Deathbell01_n" names in your Data/meshes/CMPlants-01-DeathbellHighres/plants/ and Data/CMPlants-01-DeathbellHighres/textures/plants/ folders. This should override the vanilla meshes and textures without need of the ESP file - I prefer managing my retextures as ESP files.
## UNINSTALLATION ##
1. Delete the Data/meshes/CMPlants-01-DeathbellHighres/plants/deathbellhighres*.nif files from your Skyrim install directory.
2. Delete the Data/textures/CMPlants-01-DeathbellHighres/plants/deathbellhighres*.dds files from your Skyrim install directory.
3. Disable and delete the .esp file from your Data/ directory.
4. Your game should now return to using the vanilla Deathbell NIF and DDS files.
