I saw this request on the Forums and thought I'd try to help. 

This adds a "Mithril Shirt" that is invisible, and adds an armor value to the wearer. 

It is worn as either a Silver Necklace or a Silver Ring. Has an armor value of 600 (the armor cap) .
It does not have the keyword for Heavy or Light armor, so it should not have an impact on any Mage Perks. 

There is also an enchanted version of the ring if you want to disenchant the item to use on something else. 

use the console ~ and type "help Mithril" to get the item code. 
then type "Player.additem" and the item code to get the item you want.
