Standalone Dragonborn Monk Outfit (Redux)
Original Mod: Sasquatcho's Standalone Dragonborn Monk Outfit

This mod adds in 14, all new craftable monk style garbs. This is considered an update or rehash of the "Standalone Dragonborn Monk Outfit" mod by Sasquatcho.  I decided because I loved his mod so much, I wanted to readjust it to represent most of his designs to get the colors just right.  One of the issues of his mod was that you could only have one particular garb at a time.  My decision was to go and see if I could put the rest of the colored garbs back into the game by recreating new specific meshes and texture paths.
Also, I went ahead and made all of the new garbs craftable with all new recipes - with a twist!  Because of all the colors on each garb, I put in a harvestable ingredient into the mix to emulate a "dye", with as close to the color of the ingredient as I could come up with.  Grab your ingredients and go to craft at your nearest tanning rack.  These garbs are also upgradable at a workbench using similar materials.

Armor Specifications

Each garb is considered light armor!
Because the game is tough to play using strictly clothing, I did put armor value on each of the garbs.  This is because I wanted to keep my character and make these garbs viable through the end-game.  Each rating is outrageously high, a bit too high for many people's taste but if anyone wants a clothing version, comment here about it and I can put a new ESP with an installation script to choose between them.

The basic color garbs (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Black and White) have a base rating of 90.
The dragon garbs (Imperial/White, Red) have a base rating of 110.
The specialty garbs (Gorowyn, Halas, Kelethin, Neriak and Veksar) have a base rating of 180.

As mentioned, if you feel this is too high/low you can either: edit the values via the Creation Kit or ask if you want them converted to a clothing type.

FAQ

Where can I craft these?

You can craft each of these at your local tanning rack.

Do these garbs work on females?

Currently they do not.  They have the same texture as the prisoner clothes, just like the issue with the original mod.  I wanted to get this working but I am unsure of how to focus this around body mods/ Caliente Body Slider.  If anyone would like to help me, comment and I can re-implement them into the ESP.

What is different between this mod and Sasquatcho's mod?

Sasquatcho provided all the great colors and designs, I simply gave each of those colors their own mesh so you could try them out without having to swap the texture on your own time.  I increased the armor rating on each (for my own taste) and retextured a few garbs that didn't have the color I was looking for.  I gave each new garb its own recipe so you could craft them and fixed some other elements (before, the garb did not have a ground texture, for example).  Other differences are that I did not include the dragon shout texture he designed, and this still does not have female meshes yet.

Are the gauntlets and footwraps still present like in Sasquatcho's mod?

Yes, they should be.

Why do these have armor rating?

I can understand why some people think its odd that a piece of clothing has armor, but I play it out like this: I have played through skyrim wearing only clothes and its challenging and fun!  But as I started to play on legendary it became crazy difficult, so I had to make a choice.  I like to think that through the recipe and how it includes leather, that these garbs are make of a type of leather that looks like fibre.  The specialty garbs with the Kanji symbol I like to think lore-based and how the additional item gives it some magical protection.  Bare with me and my nerd-iness!

Can you get rid of the armor rating?

Yes, if enough peole want it so, I can drop in a new ESP.  If not, you can go ahead and look for the armors located in the armors tab on your Creation Kit and mark them all in the item's properties from "light armor" to "none".

Are there any incompatibilities?

Currently there are none.  I have tested this with perkus maximus, skyre and ordinator and the garb's effect is still in tact.  Because the recipes are specific to this mod, there should be no issues.

Closing Notes

If you decide to try this mod, I cannot stress enough to please give sasquatcho your endorsement on his original mod, I played with his garbs for hours on end and it was the perfect fit for my monk character!
