For regular Skyrim, not the Special Edition*. No DLC required.
*It looks like simple mesh/texture replacers may still work with SSE, but I haven't tested that.
My goal was to make the arcane enchanters look like futuristic technology that the people of Skyrim have salvaged and misinterpreted as magic. Through trial and error, mages and court wizards have worked out complex hand motions and incantations to transform mundane weapons and armor into magical wonders...never realizing that they have in fact stumbled upon command sequences to alter matter on a subatomic level. Comes in two versions:
If you want to replace all of the tables in Skyrim with one of these, download one of the replacer versions. INSTALL ONLY ONE REPLACER VERSION AT A TIME. If you instead want to use this as a modder's resource, download the resource versions. You can use both modder's resource versions at the same time.
Installation
The Replacer versions may be installed like any other mod: use NMM, or unpack the zip into your Data folder.
Requirements/Incompatibilities
No requirements
The replacer versions will conflict with other arcane enchanter replacement/retexture mods.
Compatible with mods that improve candle textures.
Credits
All of the textures used in this mod were gathered from widely-distributed free wallpapers and clipart, and I was unable to find the original artists. If I've made a mistake and you see something that belongs to you, please tell me! I will either give you credit or pull down the mod, as you prefer.

- Predator/Yautja: Intended for use with the Lost Tribes mod (though Lost Tribes is not required). Red lights, candles removed, carvings edited to look more appropriate to predator aesthetics, and the table base is now made of metal. These would be consoles directly salvaged from yautja wreckage.
- SciFi: A less intrusive version. The lights keep the cyan/green color scheme of the vanilla enchanters, the table base is unchanged (still wood), and the candles are still in place. These would be technology that has existed in Tamriel for so long that its source has been forgotten. Mages have taken to adorning these relics with skulls and candles, and set the consoles on top of elaborately carved tables.
