This mod adds a new castle and player home based off the Palace of the Kings. It's exteriror is somewhat similar while the interiror is more similar. It is located near Rorikstead (it is visible on the map). It has a tower with a guard on

Castle Snowstone is an ancient castle with a mysterious past. It's secrets can be discovered within.
**NO REQUIREMENTS** Just latest version of Skyrim
***NOTE*** I highly recommend you read the book on the castle's history (it is also a skill book) so you can understand the unique history about it.
This mod adds a new castle and player home based off the Palace of the Kings. It's exteriror is somewhat similar while the interiror is more similar. It is located near Rorikstead (it is visible on the map). It has a tower with a guard on top and a map and chest inside. The main gate has one guard near it.
New Npcs:
Hjanel Feld - Castle Steward
Haaol Hard-Foot - Castle Housecarl
Telmir the Blind - Castle Wizard
Stelgar - Guard
Fjotarth - Guard
Hidger - Guard
Kjelbjof - Guard
Inside there is a stone table like the one in Sky Haven Temple, two guards, the steward of the castle, the housecarl, the wizard, and many shrines. There is also a kitchen and a meeting room. The steward has fine clothes but will switch to steel plate armor when asked to follow, he is also a potential spouse. The housecarl is just a follower.
The castle on the exterior is covered in snow despite being in a generally non-snowy area. This is explained in the castle's history book located next to the throne in the main hall and one in the main bedroom. Basically, a wizard protected himself and others from getting covered in snow by making a barrier. It has much more depth in the book.
There is one unique object that looks like a small pillar with a shout coming out of it, this is the source of the castle's magic which is also explained in the book.
There is a large chest in the player's bedroom in the upstairs for storage. There is also two kid beds in the first room on the left upstairs for any custom family home mods out there.
Bugs:
The guards on the outside may load inside the static so they won't be visible. This is fixed by entering and leaving the castle.
The followers and other followers may stay in the castle once you leave. This is fixed by fast traveling somewhere.
