Immerse yourself in the life of a scholar with this add-on for the Equippable Tomes mod, which allows you to scribe your own mage scrolls in a lore-friendly and balanced manner. Dust off your sagecrafting table, get your bag of alchemy ingredients, and sit down for a spell, as you scribe a... spell.

This simple mod does not modify any vanilla records, and so should be compatible with absolutely everything that Equippable Tomes is compatible with. Best of all, the crafting of these scrolls happens at the Sagecrafting table - which you can make yourself, and place anywhere you want - even take it with you, along with your Campfire camps! This is a mod intended for roleplayers, which is where the lore-based alchemy ingredient additions are added-in. Most scroll crafting mods don't have that component, and to me felt a little unbalanced in that I could turn completely worthless items into expensive and useful scrolls.

Scrollcrafting is very simple. You merely need to know the spell in question, along with four crafting components: A roll of paper, a piece of charcoal, a leveled soul gem, and an alchemy or crafting ingredient tied to the type of spell you are making. A Scroll of Candlelight, for instance, requires a Torchbug Thorax. A Scroll of Firebolt requires Dragon's Tongue. Vanilla scrolls are included, all the way up to Master spells. No DLC or mod spells are added.

And that's it! Feel free to modify this as you see fit or do whatever else you want with it.
