So, hopefully this works right as the esp saving was giving me some trouble.

Hello! I decided to make a mod in which I put my simplified fanfiction of ancient myths, descriptions of creatures, as in-game books. I'm still fiddling with it as I go, but for the 1st version, install it, and type into your command console (via ` key) [help "Borghilde"] without the square brackets and it should come up. I've got a ton of these real myth-based stories that could be chucked into your Skyrim game, and really wanted to get this going.

Future plans are to finish writing them all up in the Creation Kit, making sure they're all under one esp, and then I'll work on the lovely task of putting them in the world or in levelled lists.

Then, after that, I'll try and figure out if I can make a Bard's College quest to find these myths. Seems appropriate for that group to seek out these books.


For lore friendliness...

These are... sorta. Obviously none of this stuff happened in the world, but it could have. If people think ticking the 'is not lore friendly' thing is a bit unecessary I'll get it unticked.

Focusing on general myths and legends I know from hearsay and word of mouth and general stuff, so hopefully it's all public domain. Planning to look at parts of the Volsung saga, bits about 'mer maidens', a bit of Arthurian mythos, and random treatises and tales that could fit Skyrim vaguely.
