Requirements:

  • Dragonborn

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with anything that does not change the enchantments on bound weapons.
  • New bound weapons may not recieve any new effects.
  • Bound Armory is compatible thanks to Gruftlord.
  • There are some container, leveled list, and one location change, but these are trivial and can be overwritten (everything here is craftable too).

The Optional File:
If you have a mod that causes Atronachs to be healed by their elements, then you will notice that my enchantments will harm the atronaches insead of healing them. This file fixes that issue.

This file is also 100% mergable.

Features:

13 new armor enchantments and spells.
  • These "add" new effects to bound weapons.
  • There is one enchantment and spell for each, standard, weapon enchantment in the game.
  • All new enchantments and spells start with the word "Boon" and are known as the "Boon Effects"

New Weapon:
  • It is known as the Affinity Blade.
  • It is a greatsword that can receive any Boon effect, just like the bound weapons.
  • Unlike bound weapons, the Affinity Blade is not affected by bound weapon perks.
  • This new weapon is disenchantable.
  • It is found in the boss chest at Bleak Falls Barrow.
  • It can also be crafted at the Skyforge.

The armor enchantments.
  • They are disenchantable.
  • They have no magnitude.
  • They can be placed on necklaces and rings.
  • They are found on necklaces in the usual places.
  • They can be purchased from the mages in the College of Winterhold.
  • They can be crafted at the Skyforge.

The spells.
  • They are classified as Conjuration spells.
  • They have a duration but no magnitude.
  • The tomes can be found in the usual places.
  • They can be crafted at the Skyforge.
  • All spells have a secondary effect.

The 14th spell:
  • Casting any new spell will add the ability Dispell Boons.
  • This ability will remove all active Boon effects, excluding the enchantment versions, from the player.
  • The ability will disappear after it is cast.

  • These are available as enchantments or spells.
  • They hae been carefully named for improved sorting.

Novice
  • Boon of Damage Fire
  • Boon of Damage Frost
  • Boon of Damage Shock

Apprentice
  • Boon of Damage Magicka
  • Boon of Damage Stamina
  • Boon of Repel Living (Fear)
  • Boon of Repel Undead (Turn)
  • Boon of Soul Trap

Adept
  • Boon of Absorb Health
  • Boon of Absorb Magicka
  • Boon of Absorb Stamina

Expert
  • Boon of Banish
  • Boon of Paralysis

Crafting

  • All new items are crafted at the Skyforge.
  • The recipes will not appear unless the player has a filled Black or Grand Soul Gem in his inventory.
  • All necklaces and tomes also have skill requirements before they can be crafted.

Blade of Affinity Recipe:
  • This is made with 1 Ancient Nord Greatsword and 1 filled Black / Grand Soul Gem.

Necklace Recipes:
  • These are made with 1 Gold Necklace and 1 filled Black / Grand Soul Gem.
  • They can not be made unless the Player has a Conjuration or Enchanting level that matches the corresponding Spell's Conjuration level.
Example: Amulet of Paralysis Boon requires 75 Conjuration or 75 Enchanting.

Tome Recipes:
  • These are made with 1 Ruined Book* and 1 filled Black / Grand Soul Gem.
  • They can not be made unless the Player has the spell's Conjuration level or the related spell's school's level.
Example: Spell Tome: Boon of Paralysis requires 75 Conjuration or 75 Alteration.

*There are two types of Ruined Books and a Burned Book. These can be converted into the right books at a Tanning Rack.

Purchasing

  • All new necklaces and tomes can be purchased at the College of Winterhold.
  • They have the same restrictions as vanilla tomes, including the necklaces.
  • Phinis Gestor will sell all new tomes and necklaces.
  • Other merchants may sell new necklaces too, but the Player must have the related spell's school's level.
Example: If the player has 75 Alteration, then Tolfdir will sell the Amulet of Paralysis Boon.
