This mod mostly fixes Chaos damage, and dual element enchants on weapons, that get unexpected damage boosts with destruction elemental augments and the enchantment elemental perks.

Lets start on what's happening on vanilla:

- Chaos damage has three element effects on one enchantment, with 50% chance to have effect in each hit. Only shock damage one is buffed really at enchanting, and the enchantment description is misleading, because only shows the buffed shock damage. So even if the display says "50% chance for each element of fire, frost and shock to do 37 points of damage.", the reality is that it will do 37 chock damage and/or 10 fire damage and/or 10 frost damage. This can be fixed with "Enchantment Reload Fix" mod, even if is not in the description, as a side effect of fixing the enchants, chaos damage will do the buffed damage with all elements.

- The three "Elemental Enchanter" perks are applied on chaos damage, so as a result if the three perks are active the damage will scale by 25% three times, as a result doubling the chaos damage numbers (and only of the shock damage if you have not installed the "Enchantment Reload Fix" mod).

- Elemental augments from the destruction skill affect cumulatively to chaos damage, and also dual element weapon enchanting. This means chaos damage is multiplied by more than three (337% damage) if you have chosen both perks of each augment. For dual element enchants you get 125% damage increase. This damage increase also affects the not buffed damage from fire and frost on the chaos enchant.

- You can get the max out of this bugs with all destruction augments, all enchanting elemental perks and a Stalhrim weapon (that gets 25% boost if frost happens to be in any enchantment placed), drink a fortify enchanting potion, then place chaos damage and any other non elemental enchant for more than 3x of the original value, along with a monstrous shock damage if it triggers. This could go to really ridiculous levels if you drink a fortify destruction potion before weapon use.

This fix does the following:

- "Enchantment Reload Fix" will fix chaos damage to be buffed correctly on the three elements, so displayed value will be true for all damage types (strongly recommended).

- From "Fire Enchanter", "Frost Enchanter" and "Storm Enchanter" you will get a flat 25% increase in chaos damage. Other enchantment types will play nice with these perks.

- From the augments, you will only get the boost from one of the augments on both dual element enchanted weapons and chaos damage weapons. If you happen to have mixed a 25% increase and a 50% increase, the higher one will always have preference.

The fix is scriptless, and modifies the data for the enchantment elemental perks, all destruction augment perks and novice destruction perk. Any other mod that affect these perks is not compatible, and those mods should be merged if you want to play with both. If you use any mod that reworks the perk system entirely, avoid using this mod along with it.

Even if the mod is heavily aimed towards fixing chaos damage, dragonborn is NOT a requirement, so you could make use of this mod for dual elemental enchants fix, even if they are custom or inherent from a legendary weapon.

On a side note, I couldn't fix the elemental augment affecting both enchantments on a weapon even when one of them has nothing to do with elemental damage.

Of course this mod was created for personal use and is targeted towards anyone who want to play the game without bugs and exploits. Exploits are often justified with somehow logical reasoning (like the vampire necrogame exploit discussion I've seen long ago) but after all, they are unexpected behaviours, I don't care less if someone likes exploits as is a single player game, if that makes you more confortable or makes you have more fun with the game, get the recommended "Enchantment Reload Fix" and have fun with absurd elemental damage in all its glory :)

These are my mod contributions (guess my native language ^^) - always seeking for balance:
