About this mod

Breezehome is cheap, in a great location, and accessible early in the game, but it's a bit of a dump, right? This is a lightweight mod I made for myself, removing a lot of the clutter and low end furniture, and adding some better furniture with more storage, all crafting stations (except a smelter, which is already next door at Warmaiden's

Permissions and credits
I really love Breezehome! It is usually the first home a player (character) will buy, and it's in a great location, surrounded by merchants, with an alchemy lab available and smithing tools next door; it is a fine little house! Yet, its lack of storage and an arcane enchanter sadly make it a house too soon outgrown. Most of the other mods I've seen go a bit overboard for my tastes. This is a lightweight mod I made for myself, removing a lot of the clutter (e.g., some cups, a sweetroll or two) and low end furniture, and adding some better furniture with more storage, all crafting stations (except a smelter, which is already next door at Warmaiden's, which is the only station I've never seen Adrienne use) and a few shrines. Runs on base game - No DLC or additional mods needed. It does not go overboard, so no basement, fireplace, or additional display cases; that's not what Breezehome is about for me!

You must purchase all of the upgrades from the steward of Whiterun to gain all of the items available in this mod, otherwise you will actually have less than the vanilla version! I removed a lot of the crates and some other things from the starting version so I could manipulate the space more easily in the Creation Kit; you still have a bed and a chest, but I don't guarantee anything else! If you opt for the children's bedroom, you will not have any of the crafting stations mentioned above.

Apart from the standard leveled loot in the containers I added, this mod only adds two healing potions, and some wine and mead; i.e., you will not gain much in the way of loot by adding this mod. What you will gain is convenience and utility.

This mod is an expanded version of my "Someone Stole Your Someone Stole Your Sweetroll! Breezehome Mod" posted on Steam. I did not update the version there, since I removed the bookcase in the Alchemy lab, and I did not want to cause any problems for those who subscribed. I hope to have this mod converted and uploaded ASAP for the Skyrim Special Edition, to be released later this month.

Installation:

This mod consists of one .esp file, 14kb in size. If you have already purchased Breezehome and the upgrades, please remove all of your books from the bookshelf in the Alchemy lab before installing, or they will disappear from your game. The bookshelf in the living room and all other containers are still in this mod (the chest in the Alchemy lab is now on the floor, and three sacks are moved to under the ladder), so they should be safe. If you have already entered the upgraded Breezehome, some of the non-static clutter this mod removes will still exist in your game, and will be strewn around in various places, which you can then pick up and dispose of as you choose. It is always prudent to begin from a save file outside of Breezehome.

Uninstalling:

Please remove everything from the containers this mod adds. Again, it is always prudent to load from a save outside of Breezehome. The non-static items that this mod adds will probably still exist in your game, and be strewn about in various places around Breezehome for you to pick up and dispose of as you see fit.
