About this mod

- Adds 9 mounted Stormcloak Patrols (7 riders).
- Lite (4 riders) and Extra lite (2 riders) versions available.
- Horses of dead riders return to camps. Patrol continues.
- Small Stormcloak camp added. Armor replacer compatible.

WARNING: You should install this mod after the opening intro.

Some Stormcloaks might try to rescue you and screw up the scene.

sundaefinedeity has reported that a single Stormcloak rider killed the captain, before bravely succumbing to Tullius. If the whole patrol shows up, it won't be pretty for the Imperials. If someone wants to test the possible outcome of this scenario, please let me know of any problems.

NOTE: I will be adding these same patrols to HOPv - Horses On Patrol - Vanilla
You can use this for now and then uninstall, when I add them. I could use some feedback, anyways.

Stormcloak armor will be vanilla or whatever replacer armor you are using.

This mod can be used by those who don't want Imperial patrols.
My HOPv - Guard Only version can be used with this mod.
Guards from that mod will be added to this mod, eventually.

Landscape slightly adjusted at the new camp. Place below any mods that edit the same area.
  
Please indicate which patrol has issues, so I can resolve any problems faster.


Optional (NOT REQUIRED): Use MOUNTED COMBAT FOR EVERYONE AND COMBAT UPGRADES by rymon23, if you want mounted combat for my riders
Optional (NOT REQUIRED): Use STORMCLOAK BATTLE ARMOR REPLACER by jayr848, if you want Stormcloak armor in images. Awesome mod author.


***** LOAD ORDER *****

-Use LOOT. You can keep this pretty low. It only adds new NPCs to the game.


My riders will fight on horseback with this mod below installed. Pretty cool, huh.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

This mod adds 9 mounted Stormcloak patrols to the game. All Stormcloaks nonessential.

- Stormcloak saddles are from Skyrim Immmersive Creatures by lifestorock (not required - all saddle files are included in this mod)
Excellent mod. Check it out.

- Changed all saddles on horses to Stormcloak ones at all Stormcloak camps to be consistent with mine.
These horses now have a simple AI package to return to their original location.
After an attack, they will return when everything calms down.

Everyone respawns.

No mounted combat (beyond my comprehension). Riders will dismount to attack.
Use Mounted Combat For Everyone and Combat Upgrades by rymon23 . See above video.


OBJECTS/NPCs
- adds new Ridge Stormcloak Camp with 6 Stormcloaks.
- adds tents, beds, clutter, 2 horses, etc.

Stormcloak Patrol Routes (Yeah, I know the map sucks. But, you get the idea)


INSTALL/UNINSTALL

-Use NMM. 
-Add/remove files and ESP manually if need be.

For new versions: Deactivate and then delete old version. Make clean save. Then, activate new version. Load clean save.
I believe this is the safest way.


COMPATIBILITY

Compatible with all my mods

Not fully compatible with:

- When Vampires Attack
- Run For Your Lives
- Holidays

My NPCs will be called into buildings, even though they are part of the correct exemption faction.
Horses might follow, even though they shouldn't be able to go through doors.
 
I use "NPCs Protected Redux and Extra Guards", instead.
You can also use "Immersive Citizens". It doesn't affect the behavior of NPCs riding horses.
