About this mod

Enchantments on loot and store inventory are twice as powerful. DOES NOT AFFECT ENCHANTING/DISENCHANTING. Includes weapons, armor, jewelry, mage robes, staves, and religious amulets.

Includes optional rebalancing tweaks for certain items such as multiple enchantments on one item. See description and download page for more details.

Permissions and credits
This mod doubles the enchantment strength on vanilla loot (and store inventory) so that you can do enchanting and still expect to find good items while adventuring.

I would highly recommend using this mod with my
enchanting perk overhaul which makes early-game enchanting more viable (without increasing late-game power) and greatly reduces the need to grind.

This mod affects:
-Weapons
-Armor
-Staves
-Mage Robes
-Jewelry
-Religious amulets

Optional files:
(Can be found in the files section or click the links for more info)
Better Damage Magicka/Stamina Enchantments - Adds paralyze to damage stamina and soul trap to damage magicka (put below 2x enchantments mod in load order)
Alternate Crafting Enchantments - Adds combat enchantments to fortify alchemy/smithing/speechcraft enchantments so you don't have to swap gear every time you go in and out of town (put below 2x enchantments mod in load order)

Note: This mod does NOT affect enchanting. If you disenchant these items you will still only get the VANILLA-strength enchantments.

Also NOT affected:
-Artifacts (although some artifact mods do modify religious amulets)
-Enchanted items made by the player (yeah, I know I already mentioned this)

(Possibly) Required:
Unofficial Skyrim Patch - Probably not actually required, but some of the changes I made might be dependent on that file. See compatibility section below.

Compatibility:
I tried to implement some of the changes/bug fixes in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. However, this might conflict with other mods which change the same thing. Most conflicts can be solved by putting my mod above (or below) the other mod in your load order (don't expect LOOT to solve these type of conflicts), but this won't work 100% of the time.

Future Plans:
I'm planning on doing a more comprehensive and balanced overhaul of the enchanting and loot system which I'll be uploading as a separate file, however I might consider updating this mod with some minor balancing tweaks since simply doubling the power isn't always the best solution. It's going to depend partially on how much interest there is in this mod. However, in the new overhaul I won't be editing staves or religious amulets (at least not in the main file).

Recommended mods:
More Interesting Loot - Improves loot (especially in boss chests)
LC_Immersive Looting - Adds items with multiple enchantments to the leveled list
Scarcity - Less Loot Mod
Skyrim Unleashed - Makes high level items more rare (and MANY other gameplay changes)
Morrowloot - Also makes high level items more rare, but also adds new artifacts. (There are several versions of this on Nexus so the link just opens a Nexus search sorted by most endorsed)
