Rooty the crimson Nirnroot had a very shiny leaf,
until you ever saw it, I'd be hard to believe.
And all the other Nirnroots used to laugh and call it names,
they never let poor Rooty joining any Nirnroot games.

Then one foggy Winter's eve, Mara came to say:
Rooty with your leaves so bright,
You'd fit in Blackreach just so right.

Rooty the red-leaved Nirnroot, you'll go down in history!

Rooty the crimson Nirnroot spread in Blackreach everywhere,
but as it never left it, crimson roots are very rare.
So Dovahkiin be careful, listen and just trust your ears,
or you will never find it, and end up in bitter tears.
