Backstory: I recommend thinking up your own! My idea is...
(playing as an Imperial Female) "I arrived in the beautiful city of Whiterun today. My first priority was informing the Jarl of the recent Dragon attacks so I took care of that straight away - the Jarl was very grateful! After that, I decided to meet the people of this vibrant city. My first visit was to The Drunken Huntsman by the entrance and I could not believe my eyes when I entered to find my dear old friend Diego! We can't have been more than teenagers since I last saw him and I've treasured the fond memories of our summers in Cyrodiil. We were good friends but I think we both felt a special connection. I never thought I'd see him again after we went our separate ways...Turns out he's become quite the adventurer himself! He seems to have become rather settled in Whiterun recently but he was very pleased to see me again and ready for more adventure. I cannot wait to explore alongside him - he's just the warmth I need in this cold and harsh landscape...plus, he's even more handsome than I remember!"
Voice Type: Brute (like Farkas) - fully voiced
Level: His minimum level is 10, and he will level up with the player once you reach level 10 too. There is no limit to the level he can go up to.
Skills: His major skill is Archery. He is also very skilled in Light Armor and Sneak, as well as having some skill in Block and Lockpicking.
Stats: High Health & Stamina, low Magicka

Behaviour: He is Aggressive, Foolhardy (very brave/confident), and helps Friends and Allies, so he will not run from combat. He will also not object to committing crimes and will defend you rather than the guards if you get caught committing a crime.
Important Information:
He is completely standalone so he doesn't require any other mods.
If you see this mod on any other site, it has been stolen.
WARNING: His skin textures are very High Res (4k) and all of his textures are higher resolution than the vanilla ones so low-end PCs may notice a performance impact.
His Warpaint and Face Tints use high res textures so if they appear blurred, you need to create an SKSE.ini file in your Data>SKSE folder and add the lines:

iTintTextureResolution=2048
He might seem a little OP for vanilla early game users, I made him for use alongside various Combat Difficulty mods.
Even though I do recommend the use of Immersive Amazing Follower Tweaks (or the original AFT) I do NOT recommend using one of those to change his combat style, I have already taken care of this and doing that will overwrite his skills but not in a good way.
He will equip his armor and ring once you leave Whiterun, or you can force him to equip them by taking them off him and giving them back.The clothing in his inventory is just a spare set of what he has equipped by default so taking these off him won't make him naked.
I strongly recommend the use of 'Pick Default Follower Armor' so you can make him carry Heavy Armor without him equipping it.
If you come across a bug where he refuses to attack whilst in combat; just open the console, click on him, and type 'ResetAI'.
