In vanilla Skyrim and Oblivion, black soul gems could absorb all types of souls.  The unofficial patch "fixes" black soul gems and The Black Star so they no longer hold white souls.  This mod allows black soul gems and The Black Star to absorb all types of souls, including black and white souls.  Dragon souls are not affected.

Black Star Restored consists of a single loose script (magicSoulTrapFXScript.pex) and source code.  There is no esp file, so no load order.  To install, just paste magicSoulTrapFXScript.pex into your Skyrim data/scripts folder.  To uninstall, just delete magicSoulTrapFXScript.pex.

Under Optional files is a mod (Archrobes Restored) to restore the ability to wear circlets with the hooded archmage robes (version 1.0).  Beginning with version 1.1 of Archrobes Restored other minor changes were added to restore vanilla functionality of Ildari's robes, the necromage perk and the marked for death shout.  This was made at the request of Sybelius.  Archrobes Restored is a single esp file.   Archrobes Restored contains intentional ITM records.
