About this mod

A translation of Walter Benjamin's famous text, "The Task of the Translator", into Skyrim lore and as a series of in-game books. Find all 5 parts by following the poems and images included at the end of each one. Quite possibly the most esoteric Mod on all of Nexus, if not the net.

A translation of Walter Benjamin's famous text, "The Task of the Translator", into Skyrim lore and as a series of in-game books. Find all 5 parts by following the poems and images included at the end of each one. Quite possibly the most esoteric Mod on all of Nexus, if not the net.

" Unlike divining, re-enchantment does not find itself in the center of the magical forest but on the outside, facing the wooded ridge; it calls into it without entering, aiming at that single spot where the echo is able to give, in its own expression, the reverberation of the spirit in the alien one. Not only does the aim of re-enchantment differ from that of an enchanted object--it intends magic as a whole, taking an individual spirit in an alien object as a point of departure but it is a different effort altogether. The intention of the oracle is spontaneous, primary, graphic; that of the re-enchanter is derivative, ultimate, ideational. For the great motif of integrating many enchantments into one true magic is at work."

The first book may be found in the Winterhold College Library. Reading it begins the quest. If you really can't find the next part, try taking a nap ;)

I highly recommend downloading an enhanced book textures mod. I personally like http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1628/?

My sincere thanks to NorthHare, a Nexus modder, for all his patient help, without which this mod would not exist.
