About this mod

The awesome model released by nockchaa had an issue in the armor/robe model where the interior of the armor/robe was invisible and there were serious neck seams for lower weight characters not using the hood or some other models for the hood. This patch fixes that.

The story of this fix is somewhat weird.

A couple years ago, after searching for a good remodel for the Shrouded Armor, I found the TS Edition and loved it. But the model for the robe replacer(also used for the armor in the main version) had a terrible issue where you could see through the interior of the armor, just behind the character neck. Turned out there were some clipping and inconsistencies with the connection of the body to the neck as well, so I downloaded blender and nifskope for the first time and decided to take a look if I could do something about that.

- After dozens of hours failing the export, import, weighting process and whatnot, I ragequit the whole process and left the game for about a year.

- But today, while working on another plugin, I went back to the TS Edition and again found the problem, yet this time I tried another approach to fix it.

Turned out all that was needed was to take both vanilla mageapprenticerobes_*.nif files extracted from the BSA at meshes\clothes\mageapprentice model and replace them dbarmortorso_*.nif located in the The Dark Brotherhood Armor TS Edition\Meshes\Armor\dbarmor and second, inside nifskope redirect the diffuse texture to the ones in The Dark Brotherhood Armor TS Edition\Textures\Armor\dbarmor.

Yeah, **** me.

So, I gladly share it in a way to thank the community and nockchaa for all the  work offered for free.

Instead of just replacing the files located in The Dark Brotherhood Armor TS Edition by TS archive, I've structured the folders and files in a way that this patch should be installed like another other mod, but requires the original mod, and MUST OVERWRITE the original mod files.

I'd appreciate any feedback especially if there are issues with the file.

All credits goes to the original authors of the files, named, Bethesda(for the meshes contained in the BSA) and nockchaa(for the retexture of the robe).
