::: DETAILS :::

This mod comes with the "Blink Dagger" dagger and the "Blink" thu'um.
Blink thu'um is automatically activated when the player equips Blink Dagger.
The thu'um is removed from the player when the player unequips.
That is, the player can use the thu'um only when the dagger is equipped.



The thu'um has 12 seconds of cooldown and shares cooldown with other thu'um.
Maximum blink distance is 100ft.
You can go through walls, traps, etc when it is placed well.
For comparison, flame atronach's max range is 72ft with the Summoner perk.



When the thu'um is removed, the player is automatically equipped with the last thu'um he used
which means the player does not have to manually switch skill everytime he equip/unequip the dagger.










::: INSTALLATION GUIDE :::

Step1: Download with Nexus Mod Manager.
Alternative manual download: go to files tap, manually download the latest file,
uncompress the file, and copy all of its contents into your Skyrim's "Data" folder.


Step2: Craft "Blink Dagger" from any in game blacksmith forge.
You will need following (the dagger can be found under "Glass" category):
1 refined moonstone
1 sapphire
2 refined malachite
"Glass Smithing" perk under "Smithing" skill branch

Alternatively, press ` key to open the console,
and enter following:
help "blink dagger" 4
Once you can see the 8-letter ID for the dagger, enter this on the console:
player.additem 00000000 1
with 00000000 being the dagger ID.

Step3: Once you have the dagger, simply equipping it will make the Blink thu'um appear among your other Shouts.










::: REQUIRED/RECOMMENDED MOD :::

- This mod utilizes SKSE but it will work quite without SKSE.
The only problem with not installing SKSE is that one of your summoned creature will disappear each time you blink.

- To fix the dagger position when equipped by the player you might want to look into one of these great mods:

::: CAUTION AND KNOWN ISSUES :::


The dagger is for player only and even if you give it to some other NPC, the thu'um is blocked by the scripts.
The thu'um is based on conjuration magic, and conjuration itself has lots of bugs.
This dagger let you blink to some places that might corrupt your quests/save data. Great power comes great responsibility.








::: UPDATES :::

1.1 - included the scrips
This is my first mode using the papyrus scrips and I did not know the scripts were not included in the esp but saved separately.
As a consequence, I did not included any of my scrips in my first upload and any script related feature did not work.
I am genuinely sorry about the mistake and thanks for those who kindly reported the problem!
1.2 - mesh updates
1.3 - minor adjustments
Damage reduced from 20 to 10 (same base damage as an ebony dagger).
The player can now improve the dagger at a grindstone.
Player requires a sapphire to craft and temper the dagger.
Blink distance increased form 80ft to 100ft.
