A Mask For A Lord

This mod adjusts the masks from Daedric Lord Armor by McMuffin to fit a TES5-era head shape. The original masks were designed for Oblivion, and as a result their shape is a bit...dated. The problem can be hidden if you're wearing the matching Daedric Lord Cuirass, but even then the masks seem oddly-shaped and small. The new masks have been morphed for a newer generation of heads using the Masque of Clavicus Vile as a template, resulting in a much better vanilla fit and getting rid of the "floating head" problem when mixing armors.

Files:

Standalone: This adds the full armor set and weapon into the game as a separate mod, rather than a patch for existing mods. The stats are an improved version of Daedric Armor. You can craft all items with the Daedric Crafting perk. Enemy Dremora will also randomly be given either Daedric Lord Armor or normal Daedric Armor and can be looted, so the new armor is completely incorporated into gameplay. (Compared to Natterforme's mod, the items' stats and recipes have been rebalanced, and they were added to enemy Dremora.)

Basic Replacer: This includes only the new meshes & textures without any plugin. You can use this to patch Natterforme's Skyrim port of the armor or any other mod that uses the masks without changing their data location.

Immersive Armors patch: This includes the fixed mesh and a plugin to add the masks into IA. Normally IA only includes the Daedric Lord Armor with no matching helmet, likely because of the mask shape issues. With this patch the masks are incorporated seamlessly into all features, including crafting, random distribution to Daedra, Matching Set perks, etc. Make sure the patch comes after IA in the load order.

Skyrim Immersive Creatures patch:
This is the same as the Basic Replacer, but the meshes and textures are in a different location, to match their location in SIC. If any other mods use the same modified location, you can use this patch to repair them as well.

If there are any other mods that use the mesh in a different location than either the Basic Replacer or the SIC patch, you can just use one of these patches but move the fixed mesh into the correct location (don't change the texture location). If you're unsure of the correct location, leave a comment with the name of the mod and I will take a look.
