*** Note - These files will REPLACE certain vanilla Skyrim primarily Female clothes textures and meshes. ***

Update :

Added cleaned versions Miner Clothes for Females, both versions (per a member request) The meshes are aligned and tailored to the UNP Standard Body, however the textures should work without issue on any other body type, provided the mesh uses the default UV.

Added cleaned version of the Hammefell Garb and Alikr' Hood (per member request) There is no mesh for these. They are Textures only, and should work with any mesh that uses the default UV  *Note  It will change both Male and Female, as the vanilla meshes both use the same textures (muchto my chagrin, because when worn by female characters, it, ah ... Looks like she is trying to smuggle a Scimitar around in her trousers ... ektch)

Again, I tried to keep as close to vanilla as possible with the colours and textures, however I DID add some elbow pads to the alternate Miner Outfit, just to give it a little variety, hope you don't mind. Also included is a retexture of the Miner Boots for females, because the vanilla ones just looked to scruffy with the now clean outfit :)

Description:
Some basic texture and mesh edits of several clothes items in Skyrim to replace the default ones. They are "tailored" (read: shaped) loosely to the UNP Standard body, because that's the one I prefer and use. Some of the meshes have had the "body" replaced by the UNP Standard body, and most have had the Alpha Channel enabled so as to allow a bit more skin to show.

The textures "may" work with vanilla or other body types
, however there may be some strange black areas or missing/see-through parts if the mesh you are using does not have the Alpha Channel set or is not "complete" enough. You may also find some misalignment with hands/feet/neck and neck seam issues, if you use a different body. I can't say for certain because I don't have, and don't use, other body types. I'm sure comments will quickly be posted if there are issues.

I used the 2K textures from the HR DLC as a base for all the textures, so that's why they are all 2K, however they can easily be rescaled down for slower machines, without to much loss of quality. No .esp is required for the standard files **

** Optional:
There is also one extra retexture that is purely optional. I was always a bit narked that the Radiant Raiment attire was simply the bog standard Fineclothes 01 with a higher price tag, yet it's "supposed" to be some wonderful outfit. Same holds true for the "Party" clothes you get from Delphine. So I've created an extra texture and a purely optional .esp file, which changes the RR Dress and the Party Dress to the new texture.

Please don't forget to hit the Endorse button if you like them :)

Rant:
Like many others I eagerly downloaded the Bugthesda High Resolution DLC thinking that I'd finally see some decent textures on various outfits. And like most I was bitterly disappointed. The vast majority of them simply seem to be larger versions or upscaled versions of the vanilla textures, and a crap texture is crap no matter what resolution it is. There is also the fact that the clothes in Skyrim all look as though they were dug up from under a Drauger by a Frost Troll, who then decided to wipe it's a$$ with them before leaving them on the ground for any wandering adventurer to find.

So After scouring the InterWebs for many years, I've never been able to find decent retextures of most of the "clothes" in Skyrim. So I decided to make my own.

These are NOT anywhere near the quality you see from Amadianborn or Linde, as they have more talent in a single finger than I could ever hope to have, but I think these textures are an improvement at least on the Bugthesda ones. And until/unless someone with more talent decides to take the plunge, these are the best I can do.

I've tried to stick close to the original colour schemes and themes where possible/acceptable but attempted to make it look as though the outfits have been recently made i.e not dirty and with some variation, so that they don't appear as simple recoloured clones of each other, whilst keeping the same basic meshes.

My computer is pretty old, so I don't use any of the fancy bodies with HBBPP this and PKLFHTY that, just the old original UNP body, so that's what the meshes are based on. Where applicable I've "re-tailored" or adjusted the meshes to more closely conform to that body and give them a more feminine appearance where possible. (so they don't make you look like the above mentioned Frost Troll when you wear them.)

There is no Farmclothes04, because there is already a pretty good retexture here on the nexus for that one, and the same for the YarlClothes03 (it's listed as "Emperor" textures I believe.)

I won't be doing any body conversions, so please don't ask, besides which the changes aren't that dramatic enough to really warrant it. However if someone else wants to do conversions, they are more than welcome to.
