Version 1.21
Fixed looting undead so that it doesn't fire all the time.
BE IT KNOWN that henceforth all ill-gotten gains collected from bandit camps and Forsworn camps shall be considered evidence of these miscreants' crimes and are NOT to be tampered with, even during legitimate state-sanctioned bounty hunting. An exception shall be made for items found on the person of a wanted fugitive if there is an open bounty on his head. All other contraband are property of the state, and will be evaluated and auctioned in order to provide for the general welfare of the victims of lawlessness and crime.
FURTHER, crypts and Dwemer ruins are the birthright and heritage of all Nords. Grave robbing is now strictly illegal, and trafficking in artifacts procured from these locations will be punishable by a steep fine.
FURTHER, the ancient Nordic custom that all of the belongings on a man's person at the moment that he dies become the property of no one has become untenable in our complex modern world. It was one matter for our ancestors to lose a particularly well-balanced axe or a prized bearskin when their father died in battle, but it is quite another for brigands to kill a patriarch and take the key to his house, then stroll in and rob his heirs blind. HENCEFORTH, it shall be illegal to steal from even the dead.
What this mod does This mod marks goods as stolen in several new situations:
When looting a dead human.
When looting undead.
When looting a dwemer construction.
When looting in a dwemer ruin.
When looting in a crypt.
When looting from Forsworn.
When looting in a bandit camp.
In addition, bandits and Forsworn will now trade with you through silent barter. Near where the map marker teleports you to a location, you will find a sack on the ground. Activating the sack will allow you to barter with the leader of the camp. You can buy any items in the boss chest at a steep discount (33%), since you're essentially acting as their fence.
Finally, in order to help non-Thieves Guild members make their way in the world, Khajiit caravans now trade in stolen goods.
Using this mod will make acquiring ridiculous quantities of gold much more difficult.
As a side effect of marking all of their goods as stolen, NPCs will be denuded as soon as they are activated. They will re-equip armor when you close the menu.
