A Month of Internet Deprivation Weapon Pack

By Billyro (who didn't die from mod withdrawal I might add)

Description

This mod adds seven new weapons to the game. Six swords, and one axe.

So, what's the story? Well, I moved house. Then I needed to get my Internet service provider to set up the modem and stuff (why I couldn't just plug the bloody thing in is beyond me) - however, turns out the technician is terrible at time management and managed to delay the set-up by TWO FRIGGIN' WEEKS. Damn fool. I could still use my phone, though I went over my data limit like 5 times. It wasn't very excelsior. I'd already been waiting two weeks prior to his stuff up, so it brought the time spent without Internet on my PC to four weeks.

What was I to do while I had no Internet? Make some weapons for Skyrim, of course!

So yeah, here you are. You'll find these scattered around the world, and should stumble across them through normal exploration. Or, you can check inside the spoiler for location details...

Use the "COC [ID]" console command to teleport to the locations.

(Click this to see an image with the names of each weapon!)
Argent Brand: COC POIReach16
Atricor: COC POISnowy23
Greatsword: COC POISnowy02
Imperial Captain Sword: COC FortDunstad03 (I think)
Regent: COC FortHraggstad01 (I think)
Stormcloud: COC POISnowy10
Sunbeam: COC SkyboundPass01

Or, just use the "Help '[Weapon Name]' 0" command and it'll tell you its ID code - then just use "Player.additem [ID] 1" and you'll get it.

The textures range from 2K-4K, depending on the weapon (or if it's a scabbard). The polycount of the meshes is pretty low (usually between 700-2000 depending on the mesh complexity - about the same as vanilla weapons) so they won't hurt your performance.

Statistics are generally around ebony-tier, so they'll make for good mid-to-late-game weapons. Prices vary across the weapons (Sunbeam is the most expensive at 2000 Septims, but it's gold and shiny so yeah).

Some of the weapons use vanilla scabbards because I couldn't be bothered to make custom ones. But hey, at least there is a scabbard.

Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with everything. If one of the locations a weapon is in has been altered by another mod, the worst that will happen is you'll probably just find it on the ground or something.

Installation

Copy the contents of archive to your Skyrim\Data folder. Activate the .esp(s) in the Skyrim launcher. That's it! Alternatively, you can download with NMM and activate it through that.

Permissions

Please don't redistribute this mod. If you wish to use these weapons in a custom mod, please let me know beforehand.

The Regent was based on the Albion Regent. They're the ones to thank for the cool design.
