My personal feeling- there is not enough companions that can say more than standard follower.
There is Serana, tho... So why not make her... a him?

If you have started the quest already you can download it without hestitation. If you haven't meet Seran(a) yet, there COULD (99% sure there won't be) problems.
03/22 - added new look for Seran. Look in optional files.
Added one new voice file (someone in background shout "She has the scroll!" - now, I just HAD to edit it).

ATTENTION
This is my first mod. Ever. Very simple yet maybe it will be to your liking.
I listed problems at the end- it's only small facelift + voice change so it shouldn't conflict with anything that does not conflict with official Dawnguard DLC!
Fully re-voiced with lower tones now male Seran'a can accompany you during Dawnguard DLC and beyond.

INSTALLATION:
>Unzip file
> put Male_Serana into your DATA folder
> dawnguard.esm folder should be inside your SOUND\VOICE\ folder
If you have previous version -
1. delete Male_Serana.esp from DATA folder
2. delete files from folder from Data/Sound/Dawnguard/
3. download and install new, lighter version

FAQ:
He's voice is awful. Can you do something with it? I am currently working on re-recording all of lines. It depend on help from others so I don't know where it will be.
No changes in the voice. Why is that?
Make sure you have dawnguard.esp (with voice files inside, there's around 15 folders in it) folder is sound/voice/ folder.
SEQ file should be in SEQ folder. If you don't have it, create it.
I made better looking Seran?
Cute. Send me mesh and texture and I will upload him as additional file! :)
What can I expect next? Plans are...?
1. Making him marriable
2. Record voiceover
3. Record additional lines so he will be better follower, place and quest aware.
4. Find where the @^@%* is the line where he can be Mysterious Man.

Quest aliases and journal entries now refers to a male
Valerica is now 100% she has a son.
Seran is not a female, so he didn't take part in Molag Bal's ritual (it was suggested by what Valerica said).
Tinkered with his look (YES, AGAIN) to my liking. You can still download younger version, after all he is a teenager to me.

Added missing femalenord lines for some generic vampires ("she" replaced with "he")
Harkon now have son, not a daughter also according to subtitles
