INTRODUCTION

This mod was originally created only for myself. As landscape member of Beyond Skyrim project (expecially Morrowind), I used this mod as a sort of "trainer" to improve my exterior landscape skills. After a while, some peoples suggested me to publish this small mod "as it is". So here there isn't any quest: it's just a collection of exteriors and interiors. Only simple packages are present (merchants, patrols). My work on Beyond Skyrim consists only in landscaping; I've added here these packages only to make this mod "presentable".

All the places are navmeshed. A new small worldspace is also available, with a hidden forested valley. If you are a hunter or a ranger, you will like this forested area, as it is a good expansion of the Falkreath forests.

REQUIREMENTS
* Skyrim, last official patch

WHAT IS NEW?
This mod brings an extensive landscaping of the valley south of Falkreath, just beyond the gate at the border of Hammerfell (see the map above). Unlike other mods, this area was attributed to Skyrim, as it seemed to me a very logical extension of the Falkreath Hold instead of Hammerfell: in vanilla there are here a lot of pine trees, some snowy areas, many distant clouds. So I moved the Hammerfell border well beyond the vanilla point, on the top of a mountain pass.

At the center of the valley lies Pinewood, a small village with a tavern, a blacksmith, an alchemist, a farm, a private house and a mine; Falkreath guards patrol the exteriors, and any crime committed here will increase the bounty in the Falkreath Hold. Along the road there are small ruins, some of them are taken by bandits or spriggans.

NOTE: For peoples using Realistic Needs and Diseases, there is a small patch that extends the inventory of the innkeeper and replaces the vanilla well with the RND active well.

INSTALLATION
* Make a strong back-up save (this is always true before trying new mods);
* Drag and drop the .ESP and the .BSA files into Skyrim's Data folder, or let it manage by your Mod Manager, if you have any.

Skyrim.ini editing is NOT NEEDED: the invisible world border has been moved near the new Hammerfell pass (you will get the "you can't go this way" message once approached the new pass).

UNINSTALLATION
* Delete the .ESP and the .BSA files in Skyrim's Data folder, or let it manage by your Mod Manager, if you have any.

I strongly suggest you to use ModOrganizer, so you can easily manage this (and similar) mod.

COMPATIBILITY
This mod is not compatible with any other mod that alters the same area. Mods that modify the region border gates will be not fully compatible only for the Falkreath/Hammerfell border: anyway, in this case most probably the issue will be visual only (unimmersive), since my mod intends to extend the Falkreath Hold beyond its vanilla border. My edits in the vanilla Hammerfell border cell are: completed navmesh, disabled (not deleted) wall gate, added a fern and a small stone.

TES5Edit cleaned.

FAQ
Q: No need to edit Skyrim.ini to disable the border region? Are you sure?
A: yes, I'm sure. Border region level has been edited to move it forward. Just reach the vanilla border to the south of Falkreath and go ahead.

Q: Will this mod be incompatible with Beyond Skyrim: Iliac Bay?
A: Even if it will sound odd, the incompatibility won't be so high. Iliac Bay has its own worldspace to avoid the well-known 128x128 havok-issue, so this valley will not be touched in any way. Furthermore, the Iliac Bay worldspace's safe area ends just near the pass that I used to put the Hammerfell border, leaving untouchable this valley. So, probably the Hammerfell-Skyrim border for Beyond Skyrim will be moved there (not yet decided, I'm not part of IB team). This is a critical point, and my mod could accidentally help to fix this, by using a patch to make this mod and BS:IB compatible each other.

Q: Will you add quests/stories around this area?
A: Most probably not: I'm an exterior landscaper and I don't have any ability in creating quests. If you are a quest maker and you want to create a quest/story for this mod, you are welcome.
