This is another awesome little project I've been meaning to patch for quite some time now, but never really found the time until recently. I'm gonna keep this description atypically 'short and sweet', as the night grows short and I've still much to do.

WHAT IS THIS??:

Bringing together all the finest work of the aMidianBorn team, the Content Addon by Kryptopyr is a plugin that adds a number of texture variations of gear in Skyrim, with a couple added bonuses; skyforge weapons, a wolf shield, and some minor passive effects for some of the added armor variants as well. Content Addon Reqtified seeks to ensure a seamless experience when using the addon alongside Requiem, handling everything from adjusting item stats to ensuring they're always distributed properly.

INSTALLATION:

Use the basic installation guide if you don't/won't use the recommended mods! Scroll down for the extended version. Whether or not you want my recommendation, there are five mods I advise using for both install types with Requiem; Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade and Clothing and Clutter Fixes, as they provide numerous fixes that greatly improve on items throughout the game, and Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade, which, as the name states, completely overhauls crafting (and is by the same awesome author as the first two); and KFR - Kryptopyr's Fixes Reqtified, a combination patch for first two, and Crafting Overhaul Reqtified, both of which are brought to you by yours truly.

Just the basics.
(If you are SURE that you already have all of the requirements installed, you may skip to step 3.)

• Install the aMidianBorn Content Addon (found in the Book of Silence optional files).
• Install Requiem - The Roleplaying Overhaul.
• Install CAR (this patch).

WRYE BASH USERS:
For best results, don't use a Bashed patch with this patch. However, if you absolutely must make a Bashed patch, make sure to uncheck the 'Import Names' and 'Import Stats' boxes, and definitely use the TES5Edit Script: Unlevel (or Re-Level) Leveled List by fireundubh to keep leveledlists unleveled; you will likely have to edit these leveled lists manually with TES5Edit to remove items of certain qualities (glass and ebony items aren't common in leveled lists, and daedric items are absent entirely) in accordance with Requiem. This is why I suggest instead using a properly-designed patch for Requiem.

LOAD ORDER:

Use LOOT, then move Requiem and everything Requiem-related to the bottom of your load order. Load my patches last.

For reference, here are the related load orders. The masters themselves are sorted by LOOT. My personal load order is provided for the extended installation. If you're experiencing CTDs, you're missing one of the master files listed in the basic load order below, most likely.

COMPATIBILITY:

Should be compatible with anything that doesn't change the same leveled lists, though a little xEdit handiwork can easily resolve such collisions, of course.

Versions for both COR and CFR are offered by the installer for users of Cloaks of Skyrim (either CCOR-integrated or otherwise).

Thanks for checking out the patch. If you like CAR and decide to endorse it, you should probably endorse the original mods too (it might seem a little silly not to).
