Never wondered why you can not save Cairine from her pitiful life in the Warrens ? Now you can.
I was so disappointed to be forced to leave Cairine sick and poor in the Warrens that I made this mod. This mod makes Cairine a potential follower and wife. She is a Conjurer and also uses some Destruction, Restoration and Alteration spells. She can be level 1 to 90, depends of the player's level.
If you want to marry her, don't forget to speak to Maramal and to wear an amulet of Mara.
Unless you marry her, or if you want to make her live in another location than your house, if you want to change her home, you may need My Home Is Your Home - a mod for followers by Volek

It adds a dialogue option with which you can change any follower's home.
I also changed her voice to a nicer one. If you want the original Cairine's voice, download the optional file instead of the main one.
BEWARE :
If you load a savegame while using this mod, Skyrim will keep using the ancient version of Cairine. She can be a follower, but will be weak. If you want to take her as follower for the first time, you must open the console command, click on her and type :
disable
player.placeatme D66FE
Then close the console command.
This replaces the ancient version of Cairine by the new.
You'll need to do this only once in your game. If you create a new game while the mod is enabled, I don't think you need to do this.
=Manual installation=
- Put the .esp and .bsa files into the Skyrim's Data folder. Check if it is enabled by launching the SkyrimLauncher and clicking on "Data Files". If it is not enabled, then... enable it !
=Known bugs=
- If you use the main file, she'll keep saying her quotes like "Don't know anyone here who doesn't have Rattles or Ataxia.", but she will say nothing. This happens rarely, but when it does, maybe the dialogue can get stuck. Simply exit the dialogue and speak to her again.
- Like any follower, maybe you'll lose her. Fast travel to any location and she'll be next to you. If you don't want to use fast travel for some reasons, then fast travel to the location you are.
Entering into a location like a cavern or a city works too.

- Removed a bug because of which she sometimes leaved your service and was a witness if you commited a crime in the Reach.
- Removed a bug because of which she became agressive if you escaped or killed the guards in the Cidhna Mine questline.

- Changed morality. She will not turn agressive anymore if you commit a crime, except if you escaped or killed the guards in the Cidhna Mine questline (corrected in the 1.4 version)
