About this mod

Changes the Vanilla Healingspells Fast Healing, Close Wounds and Grand Healing to HoTs. Optionally Respite-Perk does not longer recover Stamina, instead it doubles HoT-duration.

Description

I did this Mod for my self, because in my opinion Healing in Skyrim is kind of overpowered.
Enemys have to one-hit you, else every amount of damage can be healed in one second.

This Mod changes the Vanilla Healingspells 'Fast Healing', 'Close Wounds' and 'Grand Healing' to HoTs
(->Healing over Time).


This means they won't heal their whole amount instantly after releasing the spell. Instead they need 5 seconds to release their whole effect.
This HoTs can not be stacked! If you cast a second Healingspell before another has finished, it will reset the duration of the spell.
Your character will have a subtile golden glow, as long as a Healingspell is active.
Also Sky-UI will show an Icon as long as it is active when its settings are right.



In addition I changed the Respite-Perk because it made every form of stamina-managment unnecessary!

It now doubles the duration of 'Fast Healing', 'Close Wounds' and 'Grand Healing'.
For the channeled Novice-Spell 'Healing' it now doubles the amount per second.

(By request I added another file where Respite-Perk is untouched, Spellduration in this version can not be extended,
instead they will also recover stamina over time)


Magicka-Cost is the same as in Vanilla, Healing-amount is also similar to Vanilla

(a little less without Respite-Perk, a little more if you have it).


Respite Perk
Doubles the duration of your loaded Healingspells and the amount of your channeled Healingspell.

Healling Novice Spell
Heals 7.5 points per Second. Respite-Perk doubles the amount per second.

Fast Healing Apprentice Spell
Heals 10 points of Damage per Second for 5 Seconds. Respite-Perk doubles the duration.

Close Wounds Adept Spell
Heals 20 points of Damage per Second for 5 Seconds. Respite-Perk doubles the duration.

Grand Healing Expert Spell
Heals 30 points of Damage per Second for 5 Seconds. Respite-Perk doubles the duration.
(It does not longer heal allies nearby you)

All the other Healingspells in the Game are left untouched, e.g. 'Heal Others'


Installation, Uninstallation & Compability

Use NMM or similar, for manual Installation just drop "healing over time.esp" in your Skyrim/data-folder.

This Mod is very leightweight and does not use any scripts.
It can be installed and uninstalled mid-game, even if you already have this spells.
Since the Respite-Perk does not apply a magic effect by itself, it also doesn't matter if you already got this perk.
(It is only there for Condition-Check, its mechanics is in the spells, I only changed the displayed description)

It is also partly compatible with other mods, which change the restoration tree, as long as they don't change the 4 Spells I editet.
In this case it is only important that the Respite-Perk is still there and is connected to the Restoration-Novice-Perk.
It is cleaned with TESVedit.


I recommend Immersive Potions, this mod changes all Potions etc. to an unstackable '-over-Time'-effect.
Note: Immersive Potions and the HoTs from this Mod can stack
