This just replaces the texture.  It is the same resolution as vanilla, so there shouldn't be any performance loss, but (at least to me) there is no visible pixelation.  There are two versions.  Just install the one you like with the mod installer of your choice, or drop the data folder in your Skyrim directory.  This is intended for people replaying a paladin/demon hunter/other "good" aligned character. It may not appeal to everyone.  Not everything does.
I do not have the means to edit the meshes, as Blender doesn't want to let me edit them.  I have no future plans for this.  Feel free to use these textures, though I really only spent a couple of minutes on them.
