--What is it?--
This is a work in progress mod serving as a platform for creative writers in the Skyrim community to share their short stories, poetry, fanfics and all other forms of written work and have it published as a book item in game. This is a mass collaboration mod and all those involved will be credited on the mod page. Those of you who love reading lore books and are looking for more creative literature to keep you going during your game play, should definitely stick around. It's a very simple mod with no scripts at the moment, so bugs and compatibility issues shouldn't exist, but let me know in any case.

--Requirements--
Just Skyrim and a nice cup of hot chocolate.

--How it works?--
Basically send me your story (either by PM or email: [email protected]) along with the category (horror, romance, adventure etc), title, how many editions there are or how many you plan to make, your name or character name (whichever one you want credited and written in the book) and it's type (book or note) in game and I'll add it to the game.

Your PM or Email will look like this:
<Title, Category, Type>
<Story>
<Name>

--Where?--
Books will be sold by a new book merchant inside Solitude, they will also randomly be available from general merchants and possibly as loot (not implemented yet). I plan for this mod to be updated weekly with new submissions (most likely Fridays). I will post the date of the next submission after the last one has been published. There's also a note you can get from the vendor telling you about the next updates and random bits and bobs, do check it out for a quick line up!

Frequent contributors will have a custom NPC with their name created in the mod and you'll be able to buy their books from them directly. If we get a lot of stories for a specific category, that category will have a new shop or market stall opened specifically for those books. (TheLustyDovahBookStore huehuehue.)

A great mod to combine with this one would be Take Notes by LordConti2, so you can write your content in game directly and export it after.

--Guidelines--
-Doesn't have to be limited to Skyrim, Tamriel is your oyster...Oblivion too.
-No stolen material, all submissions must be your own work, or you must get permission from the author.
-No trolling, I will moderate ALL submissions and if I feel like you are taking the biscuit, you simply won't be included.
-Please make sure you check your spelling, punctuation and grammar, minor mistakes can be overlooked but remember your name is next to your work, if your story is illegible, I'll either not include it or include it just to shame you lol. (jk)
-Adult content is allowed, but make sure you let me know that it is so that I can put it in the appropriate category.
-If you want to make a comic or want your story to have images, make sure you let me know and send the images to me. That is also the case if you want a custom book texture.

--Future Plans--
-Grand book of stories - Various Authors which will include short lines (approx 180-250 characters) of your Skyrim experience. Can be anything, tell us about how Lydia carried your burdens into a lake of fire and still managed to show up on your wedding day, it's an open forum. (Anyone who wants to contribute to that can message me.)
-Cafe/Library with the books on shelves for those who want to read books and chill. (Need contributors who can make and clutter interiors beautifully.)
-Possibly a few book quests for new npcs. (Need someone who can make quests.)
-Random book club event/encounter. (Need someone who can make quests.)
-Several pop up book shops and market stalls. (Need contributors who can make and clutter interiors beautifully.)
-Buildings for publishing companies. (Need contributors.)
-Colour coded books to make them stand out more in game.
