Jannifer's Presets Version 1.3b


Minor Upadate:  I have reworked the file structure yet again, as I apparently do not learn from my mistakes the first time around.  (Or, apparently, the second or third.)  I have also added race and M or F to the preset's name so that you will know right off which race you need to set before loading the preset.  While it's perfectly possible to use a Nord preset for a Redguard, the face shape will likely change a bit.


Requirements:  RaceMenu by Expired6978
                       Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE)
                       no other mods required

Please note:  This mod does NOT have an .esp file, so it will not show up in your load order.  This is as it should be.

These presets are characters that I've used for my own playthroughs. (Yes, I've done that many, and I'm pleased to announce that Brynja has finally completed the main quest.)  RaceMenu's features have allowed me to create custom skin, hair and makeup colors; smooth the face and chin; make tiny adjustments to facial features and just generally create whomever I see in my head.  Take them, tweak them, make them truly yours.  They are only presets (the basic face shape and features), so they will work with any skin, hair or eye mod you care to use.  If you've created your own bit of awesomeness, post a screenshot.  I'd love to see what you do with my beginnings.


To install using Vortex:

• Use the Mod Manager Download button.
• Go to the mods tab by using the wrench icon on the left-hand side of the window.
• Highlight the mod and go to the Remove button to the right of the mod name.
• Click the down arrow next to the Remove button and choose Install.
• Wait for Vortex to finish.
• If the mod is not automatically Enabled, do that now.
  

To install using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM):

• Use the Download (NMM) button.
• Highlight the mod in NMM.
• Click the activate icon, the second from the top on the left hand side of the window.
• Wait for NMM to finish.
  

To install manually:

• Use the Download (manual) button.
• Unzip the mod with your favorite archiving program.
• Drag and drop the files into the Steam\Steam apps\Common\Skyrim\Data folder.
• Click "Yes" to allow the over-write.
  

To use the Presets:

You must have RaceMenu, or these presets will not work.

• With RaceMenu open, choose the race for the preset you plan to use.
• Click on the Presets tab.
• Hit F9 to load a preset.
• Choose the preset you wish to load.  All my presets use my characters' names.
• Edit as you please to make my preset truly your character.
  

If you want your character to look exactly the way mine does, you will need the following mods:

1. Mature Skin by Maevan2
2. The Eyes of Beauty, including the Elves version, by LogRaam
3. ApachiiSkyHairs
4. KS Hairdos -- Renewal by Kalilies, Stealthic Khaos and Shocky
5. Brows by Hvergelmir


For my Khajiit, you will also need:

5. SC Khajiit Improvement by ShinglesCat
6. Cover Khajiit by mrLenski (texture)


For my Argonian, you will need:

7. FAR -- Forgotten Argonian Roots by redtox (textures)
8. Argonian Feather Hair by KrittaKitty  (This mod is now part of Hott Argonians by KrittaKitty and Nerd of Prey.)


The presets for each race are as follows:

Altmer -- Eliandri and Telinwe
Argonian -- Glows-in-Moonlight and Walks-in-Beauty
Bosmer -- Tessah and Kelwyn
Breton -- Morgaine and Ygraine
Dunmer -- Anashabi, Tessri and Vul-Kes
Khajiit -- R'hu and Delilah
Imperial -- Tess, Juliana and Vespasia
Nord -- Brita and Brynja
Orc -- Tez gra-Rekt and Shotti gra-Nee
Redguard -- Imshallah and Tyessa


Future plans:

I am pretty much done with creating new presets for this mod.  It's very likely I'll be going back in and making minor tweaks here and there.  I do that.

If you use one of my presets for a follower mod, please drop me a note and credit me for the face.  It's only polite.

This mod is, and will remain, a Nexus exclusive.  Do not upload it anywhere else, period.
