About

Rise of the Shaman is a mod in which I try to bring new playable classes to Skyrim. Things like a shaman, witch, which doctor, and anything like that. Some spells are just for role play value but others are completely different. I introduced a sacrificing system to allow players to kill creatures and receive a bonus and malus depending on the creature. There's also a system of having an animal spirit follow by sacrificing a part of an animal as an alternate to conjuration. A player home(near Morthal swamp) and a new vendor(near Redwater den) that sells the items and spells from the mod.
This mod came about when I ran out of classes/styles to play.

                        Features

Awaken Spirit(concentration) - You become invulnerable, but unable to attack. Must not be running.
Bloodlust Glyph(choke spell) - Allies within range have their health regeneration boosted for 45 seconds.
Chiquan Trance - Put the enemy into a trance where they walk towards the caster for 15 seconds. Minimum apprentice to cast.
Circling Ravens(choke spell) - Call for a horde of deadly ravens.
Cleansing fire(role play) - Cleanse the caster with fire, healing 15 of health points for 5 seconds.
Fire Palm - Control a ball of fire in the palm of your hands to do 16 points of fire damage per second.
Spit fire - A small spit of fire that becomes more powerful as the player becomes more proficient in destruction.
Glyph of Stumbling - Causes some enemies to stagger, slow down, and fumble to the ground.
Hex Glyph - Cast a glyph that will change some beings into a small creature. Might backfire and cause strange effects.
Mind Freeze - concentrate with all your energy to freeze the mind of other living beings.
Create Fire(choke spell) - Restores health of those within range
Shaman Creation - Communicate with the afterlife in order to borrow a spirit or create life. Sacrifice an item of an animal as an offering.
Smoke Cloak - For 45 seconds, all within melee range will take 5 points of poison damage for 3 seconds.
Therapeutic Smoke - Stops poison's continuing effects. Heal the ally for 20 health per second.
Waterwalking(role play) - Walk on water for 45 seconds.
A dagger for sacrificing small animals, example: Sacrificing a slauterfish would give you waterbreathing but also a lightning weakness for a set amount of time.
A thurible as a permanent light source.
I have some spells in this other mod that can work well with this one:

Other

-Looking for someone that could give the thurible basic HDT physics
-Cat retexture like flame familiar
-Ideas! I'm always looking for new ideas, ways to improve current things in the mod etc
-(tested on with tgm on)Spamming circling ravens might cause the PC to not be able to jump for a short period of time
-School leveling balancing. A decent number of hours of playing is the only real way of testing if they're too fast/slow
-If anyone knows how to play the shout animation for a lesser power, let me know.
-General balancing with all the mods and playing properly. I've only been testing in controlled environments with tgm on.
-Retexturing and modelling improvements are welcome, let me know if you need originals
-I'm not sure what the best way to display the cost for the leveling/evolving spells. 25, 40, 60 etc?
-If you want to know how I did something, just ask! I can give you my scripts if you need.
-I was thinking of adding 'shamany' vocals when releasing some of the spells, like an incantation. Thoughts?

Swixx070has compiled a list of mods that would turn your game into a fully fledged shaman-y playthrough. His goal was to create a more immersive shaman experience to increase the enjoyment out of the play style.
