Introduction:
I made this playerhome after deciding that I couldn't find anything quite to my liking with regards to small but practical player homes. I've always liked the idea of using this tower as a home and I've seen a number of mods that have made this transformation, but none of them was what I was looking for. They either added too much or simply weren't to my liking. I deliberately went for a small scope with this mod.
Facilities:
The tower is broken up into 2 cells (discounting the balcony): the player's room and the main tower. The player room features:
- Alchemy and Enchanting benches
- 2x chests for alchemy and enchanting supplies
- Bed (duh)
- 2x storage chest (wall-mounted)
- Cooking pot and fireplace
- Jewelry Box with mezzanine platform (mostly cosmetic)
- 2x Weapon racks
The upstairs landing features:
- Custom smelter
- Custom smithy
- Workbench
- 2x storage chests (wall-mounted)
- 1x dresser
The balcony itself has:
- Tanning rack
- Weapon grinder
- 1x storage chest
- 1x Soul Gem Forge, where you can combine empty gems into larger gems and turn Soul Gem Fragments into Black Soul Gems
Future Plans:
I'm not yet finished adding features to the home. I still want to add a bit more storage (but not much more, this isn't an exhibitionist or OCD-collector friendly home) and am going to try and enlist some help adding some weapon racks and bookshelves because I can't make hide nor hair of the system Skyrim uses for either of these so feel free to help me out :P
But until then I hope you like this home and give me some feedback on how it could be improved :)
